@aileenvlam you can get citric acid online at coastalscents com or just google citric acid for bath bombs/fizzes. Its very inexpensive. I got like a 5lb bag for $10.00 but im not sure what it costs online :-)

Please I need help I tried to make some bath bombs but they almost seem to starting bubbling / rising once I put them in the moulds. The texture once set is really bumpy not smooth? ( I used 1cup Citric Acid, 1 Cup Baking Soda, 1/2 cup corn starch, 1/2 cup sunflower oil, 10 drops essential oil) Please help......

If you guys cant find any citric acid then you can substitute it with cream of tartar . but use half of the amount you use for citric acid for instance - is they said 1 cup of citric acid then you need to use 1/2 cup of cream of tartar . Cream of tartar is in usual food stores its in the spice isle !!! Cream of tartar is the common substitute for ccitric acid .

We made some already, it was awesome! <3 For some of you who don't know what is citric acid, it is actually fruit salt a.k.a sour salt, you can but fruit salt at drug store or super market, there is also a brand call ENO fruit salt, search it in google and see if you can get some. Hey Taylor ! I think this tutorial is awsome ! But the bath bombs look so small and when you demonstrated how the bath bombs work , when it started fizzing it looked like it wouldn't with up a whole bath tub . So instead of using ice cube trays and stuff could I just roll it up into a big ball ?
