Try looking out from Filey Brig towards Brid or from Ravenscar over towards Rusup - Ruswarp you'll see lights there and over Danby, Dalby Forrest.

and one time i heard a noise, like a woooooo sound and it was very eerie and my girlfriend ran inside and i stayed outside and stared, also last night we saw a different shaped ufo, it was crescent shaped, and there was 2 light shaped circles moving around the crescent at a fast speed with dim lights on them, the lights rotating around the crescent were i would like 5 miles from the crescent

we saw something simular over filey tonight, a large glowing orange object which disappeared then reappeared black, and moved eastwardly out over the sea, was quite a large object with no lights and no obvious sounds pretty high altitude but big.

i saw this over york on 16 th october at aprox 7.16 pm it was a red round light moving slowly north west then it just dissapeared , i saw the same thing two days before 2008 over to east of york.

i saw it last sunday 8th nov at 7.45-7.50 in penistone. it was really high up and bright orange, i thought it was a firework but it stayed there for about 2mins then started moving to the right. a women was stood in her garden having a cig and she said what the hells that, we talked for a few seconds looked up and it had gone. i googled it and theres been loads of sightings lately allover the country.

Ive just walked my Jack Russell to the end of the street near beaconsfield, and saw a bright red light out to sea from lighthouse, stood watching it for 15 mins, but didnt have my mobile phone on me so couldnt film it. Yesterday morning walked my dog around same time and saw a bright white light thing crystal clear moving along with no sound. i saw something similar to this in Milton Keynes. it was moving around the sky and seemed to be burning but smokeless. it grew just like the one in this video and then shrunk out of sight. We kept looking for it for hours and didn't see it again.

i am from nothern canada, and ive seen a star like object dash ( pulsing a bright white light every 3 seconds ) from one horizon to the other in 2 seconds, make Z, W and l figures in my 2d plane of sight, then vanish to never reappear ever, ive scanned the skies with my eyes and camera ever since and never seen something similar. Ive seen this near Teeside. There was three of them in formation. I stopped the car and turned the engine off to see if i could hear the sound of an aircraft, but there was nothing. just silence. They broke formation and just disappeared. One passed close over head with no noise. It had the same orange amber glow. I have never seen anything like this before. Very strange!

I have seen these orange/red spheres in East Yorkshire and I am personally convinced that these objects are not of this planet.

Yes, hot air balloons are particularly pretty against a darkened skyline. I like the way the orange glow burns brighter as the pilot blasts hot flames into the balloon. Wonderful stuff.

Start with a process of elimination, check out what is down range of the direction of the object,wind speed and direction, do you know what kind of air traffic is common to that area..Certainly didn't look like a Chinese lantern. Thing is lights in the evening sky are not unusual. The direction of an aircraft in flight and it's lights can have widely varying appearance, and if the wind is in the wrong direction you won't hear much sound if any. I can't say much more than keep on investigating!

I saw the exact same thing 2 weeks ago in Berlin just as it was getting dark. It was a very bright light flashing red-orange-red-orange moving across the sky too swiftly to have been a high altitude plane and too quiet to have been a helicopter. It had no features whatsoever one would see on a conventional aircraft. It was an intense sphere blinking brightly and making no sound... I have no idea what it could have been it looks exactly like what you filmed in Yorkshire...
