  • Colin and john mayers style of playing are quiet similar. this is why they are both my favourite artists. Check out my channel for some sweet music!

  • excellent, powerful, and should have 10 million views for sure.

  • natural born talent,,,,was meant to be,,,

    very soul_ full sound,,

    thanks

    cheers

  • i love you Zahra

  • Why July?

  • Why dosen't this have 10 million views?

  • Great artist.....great song......great songwriter, who by the way is Morgan Davis who is originally from Detroit and now living in Nova Scotia.

    Colin sure nails it !!!!!!

  • I just a-d-o-r-e- this song!! I heard it the other day (good old BBC2 are re-running that supreme TV series 'Due South') on the ep 'You Must Remember This' & I just had to find out what the song was that was set to the last scenes. It packs such a punch. I cannot say more. It is like [BTW, I hope Colin James & fans at YouTube realise this is meant as a compliment!] a really cool male power-ballad (a male Jennifer Warnes?!) - absolutely brilliant! I now have to buy an album of Colin James. :-)

  • Great song!!

  • colin james, puttin it down for CANADA

  • Couple interesting facts about this video.

This video was directed by the now famous Michael Bay of Transformers and all those Will Smith movies fame.

It was filmed at the A&M Los Angeles sound stage where Charlie Chaplain's The Goldrush was filmed in 1988.

  • So Michael Bay DOES have more dimensions in his directing than explosions and cgi after all! ahahha

  • The Sudbury SummerFest Concert was Awesome. The band played all the great songs except one.

  • i LOVE IT!

  • Dennis Marcenko is my cousin so I have posters signed by the whole band, got them the night he opened for zz top, that was a great night

  • is there anything sexier than a sax solo??????

  • Yes, Colin James guitar solo.

  • Exceptional song.

    Thankyou.

  • This music takes me back to Austin Texas, the home of the blues as far as I'am concerned.

  • How was this video received when it came out in the 80's?? I find it a bit "sexy" even for today's standards, and I wasn't even 5 when this song came out

  • It was banned from many Stations.

  • I have always loved his stuff....and he is even more awesome live.....I have seen him several times in concert. Especially when he was still unknown. I remember going to a bar and hearing him and being blown away by his talent.

  • also he kind of reminds me of the guy from maroon 5. I don';t know w hy lol

  • you mean the guy from maroon 5 reminds you of him :P

  • is this from the 80's? I love 80's music :D . this is a good song also

  • This is one of my favorite songs EVER, really, awesome job.

  • oh yeah.

    Love the saxophone solo!!

  • I don't know much about Colin as he's virtually unknown here in Britain, but I remember picking up on this song in an episode of "Due South" and it's always stuck with me. An absolutely fantastic song, and this guy has an amazing voice!

  • Hey! That's where I heard it first time! The episode where Ray falls for the undercover, the red headed lady, and they're coming up on the shack where they're hidiing out, this played, and it forever stuck with me too

  • wish they had the awesome guitar intro too! this version is way better than the original ( a guy named Morgan Davis wrote this cool tune, and Colin made it his own)

  • Morgan Davis is a great artist as well, I've seen him get a crowd really going in Toronto.

  • Morgan Davis plays every Thursday night @ Bearly's House of Blues & Ribs in Halifax!

  • Very nice!

  • i grew up listin to colin an this one was my fav......got to meet him when i waws younger too....great guy

  • i love this song, colin is one of our blues talents, and omg, the sax riff, amazing

  • I have been searching all over the net for this video! thanks for posting it :)

  • Aggh where is the guitar intro?

That's one of the best parts of the song!

  • True, but I would rather have it with out the opening then not have it at all. I am going to post my own copy of this and I will try and add the intro if I can. :D

  • I agree, that intro is great. They shouldnt alter songs like that, it kinda bugs me.

  • i grew up with this...my mother was well into Colin

  • Ultra talented.... yummy man hot

  • colin is as close to a canadian stevie ray as there will ever be

  • You could add Jeff Healy to that list *RIP*

  • fair

  • Thumbs up to you!

  • Colin was discuvered by Stevie (more or less) he told him to drop his last name (Munn) and just go by Colin James. The reason was that in a crowded room Munn would sound like Mud lol. Personaly I think he sings better.

  • Dec. 10, 07 just saw'em live tonight, almost pissed my pants to this song heh..did tear up a'bit to his SRV tribute, all around just an awesome show:)

  • fuck man it was an amazing concert, the one with the vancouver symphony orchestra right? soooo sweet how we got colin to come back twice after he had left :D such an amazing show

  • Yep that's the one

I like some classical music but I was glad Colin's guitar was louder then the orchestra heh & I may listen to metal & Punk, but I listen to it for the appretian of the guitar. Same reason I listen to C. James, Clapton, Santana, formely the Tea Party, & Trower just to name a few:)

  • not only underrated but one of the best, cool voice too

  • Deffanetly & well Canada does seem to have 2 other underrated Guitar players in Annihilator's Jeff Waters, & in The Tea Party's Jeff Martin

  • Don't forget about Alex Lifeson......

  • And they say white guy aint got soul... well most of us don't... but this one does.

  • loving that riff

  • Thats why Colin James is my Canadian Guitar Hero.

  • WOW! i love the entire package! 80's hair and all! he was so adorable! *sigh* mmmmmmmm god! :-P**

  • I hear his hair has it's own postal code.

  • Makin' Canada proud baby !

  • I first came in contact with Colin James' music in Oct. 1990. I saw him perform live at the Cotton Bowl in Dallas, TX. He brought down the freaken House! Over 80K people in attendance. He is one bluesy MOFO!! Awesome Guitar!
