  • Dj Ready Red, I remember you from the ghetto boys.

  • I am up here making lyrics up over your cuts! A real DJ at his best! Keep up the good work! Peace!

  • me and red go way back in time, one of my best friends!!!! learned alot from red, "geto boys for life!"

  • Vinyl forever !!!

  • DJMAGICVINYL---SICK!!

  • Brian Depalms owes you huge money, for making his work, famous.

  • Did anybody tell you tou are the godfather, of modern computer engineering today. You are my base template for any game, song, video, or soundboard I have ever made.

  • Special thanx to: LL cool J, and his song Rock the Bells.

  • Don't look like no Tappan Zee or CTI 12s to me...looks like boot 12"s

  • Your correct Alpha&Omega breaks good 12''inches not using the original record for everyday use that would be crazy to wear those down which I have several copies of but I rather wear down a 6 dollar record than a rare album joint!

  • "This is how it should be done"

    "this style is identical none"

i get hype when i hear a drum roll

    Ready Red is on tables

and you know he`s got soul

  • Go head Red love what you are doing. I'm going to call you later on

  • Bob James = the man.

  • this is real old school here!

! todays dj has a laptop tons of music in a big hard drive and a software that will do just that plus more. i still love to see the vinyl wars. is an art!!!

  • Take Me To The Mardis Gras by Bob James, from his album "Two"... Y'all just don;t know about real DJ'ing.. cutting.. mixing... blending... the 'BLS and KISS fm radio shows were not battles as you say... they were real mix shows, that when taped, made a real mixtape! Yes, I have a few of them... commercials and all.

  • yup take me to the mardi gras a classic it was sampled a lot.

    p.s. im a dj to

  • When you juggle like that, is it about counting the rotations of the vinyl?

I see you pulling back to the markers.

  • Grandmaster Flash's quick mix theory at work

Yes and bringing it back to your mark sometimes

Yes the marker is the snare hit part so I'm bring that out with the fader and letting it go! Around the same area is a tom drum hit so I bring that back and let go to!

  • The Trentonian AT WORK! You haven't lost a step bro! PEACE MY MUSICIAN!

  • Also this is a very old still effective style of dj'n The new era of dj's are amazing check those guys and you see the difference

  • The name of that break is "Take Me to the Mardi Gras" by Bob James.

  • That beat reminds me of back in the late 80's. Two radio stations in NYC (WBLS and 98.7 Kiss) Use to battle each other on Friday and Saturday Nights. Live scratching like that on the air for 4 hour straight. You could flip back and forth between the stations. It was killer. I wish there was a way to get the master copies.

  • Breaking Bells by T La Rock..I think.

  • yup

  • Yo, dat boy is nice~ This one goes out to the street DJs

  • yeeaaahhh! siiick one

  • GO READY, GO READY, GO READY, GO READY

  • Red You know this is my favorite jam I had to add this to my favorites.

    luv LES

  • i can dig it

  • dope

  • Like Ready Red said, it's Take Me To The Mardi Gras by Bob James. They used to call it "The Bell" back in the days. Anybody remember when DJ's used to dip their vinyl in the tub to fade out the label so that other DJ's couldn't bite their set? I used to just use magic markers and cover them...

  • simple, yet fat!!! lovin it!

  • yo red! what's good ? i'm checking you out! damn dope! juggernaut530

  • we called it breaking bells DJ A-L

  • Even in the Netherlands we used to called it the beat with the bells :) Yeah the beat with the bells.. Later i discovered Flash cuttin that break'..

  • heat.

  • What up Ready Red, way to school cats. My man never heard it called the Bells because he lacking a little in his Hip Hop history. Yo Beatwise that's the DJ Ready Red of the Ghetto Boys from Trenton NJ, if you didn't know. One Love Red & EyeGetzRaw, see y'all on the boards.

  • Ya know I had to come through and show some love! Do ya thing and school these cats on the true school way Red!!! Keep servin' 'em!

    One.

  • Thanks my brother!

  • the bells?

hmm never heard it called that before...it's actually called Mardi Gras by Bob James

but I think you know that already...dope break though props

  • In the Bronx the original hip hop dj's and mc's would ask to play the bells that from the Grandmaster Flash himself saying this about this break!
