  • I just posted a video response of how the engine bay looks now. its different.. its cleaner.

  • That engine sounded like a lawn mower

  • @joey62978 i think this was when i had an o2 housing to turbo leak. that and you hear lifter tick since it was just fired up. check the most recent vids to see some of my better footage of full throttle pulls.

  • nice car brotha!!!!!! let me know if you wanna sell that black!!!!

  • I've never seen a boost controller there. thats genius! I also have the Forge RS Bov. good stuff man.

  • Clean engine bay

  • @thatoneguysmells nah keeping wheels on.. they match the car paint. they were painted to match from previous owner. im done with exterior.. all i care about is trapping 140mph in the 1/4 with it now.

  • Why would you still be using a MBC? Need to switch over to an electrical solenoid! The ECU is the most efficient way to regulate boost. This isn't the stone age anymore. Boost correction tables, reactive tables, being able to tune it by load, and even throttle position.. Why on earth use a manual boost controller..

  • @EVOLUTlONX The hallman mbc works quite well. from a 40psi spike it held 35psi at 7000rpm. I am well aware what a 3 port will do with the tephra mods. I tune 3 ports all the time on evos. typically i see 1-2psi more held out the top vs a manual controller. I'm not really concerned as my setup holds boost pretty well as it is now and dont feel i need to switch to ecu boost yet. I do know i will benefit from it though since you can force the WGDC uptop to hold more boost vs a manual controller.

  • @tscompusa I see I see. Well at least it's working out for you. I'm just a bit of a safe freak I guess you could say.

None the less, siiiick build. Makes me want to dump more money into mine :(

  • @EVOLUTlONX It adds up quick for sure. Ya the 3 port tuning offers quite a bit of nice goodies. drop boost on knock, bec tables, gear based boost control, drop boost on afr lean spike, etc etc.. definitely good stuff. Ill put one on my car probably mid summer.

  • @EVOLUTlONX I know countless countless people using the hallman mbc and have no desire to switch to mbc.

  • @baseballstarjc12 I can't even begin to fathom the fact as to how many fallacies you have managed to place into one comment on YouTube.. Re-read your oxymoron kiddo.

An electric boost control solenoid will always be better.. Why?

Because you can't even control as to what psi you want to hit at certain load tables, not to mention if your vehicle allows it, gear dependent boost control. It will always be safer than a POS mbc and much smarter. Please explain why I'm wrong, I'd love to hear.

  • @baseballstarjc12 you mean no desire to switch to EC...but yeah im on a hallman MBC and hold 29psi at 7500rpm...also running high 10's..i have no desire to switch to EBC

  • @trugemini6382 one feature that I did like when I had a Gizzmo EBC was the "spike stop". where it would very slightly open the w/g prematurely under WOT to prevent a boost spike and hold steady.

  • fucking nice location for the boost control.

  • sounds nice, but ugly rims

put back the oem wheels ;-)

  • @malango8052 They came with car.. i like them actually. what dont you like about them? they match the car. They are painted to match car and cars not stock paint either.

  • @tscompusa is only my opinion, I don't like those rims because they look's simple and not agrsive for your car it, it's will looks better with the oem rims, the enkei or the bbs of the mr or even with the evo x rims painted in charcoal gray or gun metal. Love the cams, those are I want it for my evo. How many whp it have?

  • @malango8052 No problem man. I dont mind them so i just leave them on. I agree theres much better looking wheels then what i have though. I actually have some FQ400 original wheels in storage but dont like them on my car. They are black. so they will go in the for sale section on evom again. Car was making in this video i believe i had it tuned for around 580whp and 520wtq. Right now its making 601/501 @ 31psi.

  • @tscompusa awsome numbers man!!,good luck with it.

  • @tscompusa whats your best e.t. trap speed ? i plan to trap 130mph with 450awhp.on fftec mustang dyno ..which reads pretty low compared to the dynojets /dynometer..when i had only 295awhp i ran a 11.6@121mph. on that dyno full weight full interior.

  • @trugemini6382 i have no idea. probably 130 as it sits right now.. its only making 522whp only holding 26psi uptop.. hopefully once i hook vac lines up to grimmspeed i can get 650+ on 32psi since ill be able to hold the boost solid uptop :D

  • i love your boost controller in your cigarette lighter haha... but i need that for my electronic shiet.

  • @scothu I have a 3 port also, just didn't install it yet. i tune tons of evos with 3 ports tho ranging from grimspeed, gm, perrin, stock bcs + pill, list goes on and on.. 3 ports are nice for smaller size turbos that fall off uptop early so you can delay the signal better to the wastegate by increasing the wastegate duty cycle on the 3 port. also nice since it allows gear based boost control and dual map boost profiles as well. i like manual also tho it spools quicker.

  • No clamps on your licp and fmic?!

  • @4g63kevin This was just temporary for the video. the fmic was just installed. i use Tbolt clamps. :)

  • is that boost controller functional? if so how did you route it?

  • @jdmfreak92 sure is. its the hallman pro in car version. its ran through a small grommet on the passenger side of the evo and behind the glove box and then up to the cig lighter hole. pretty easy to do and looks nice. just be aware when you run more boost your afr will lean out more, so take caution when turning the boost up.

  • @tscompusa thanks alot man im going go take a look at my car now hahahha

  • @jdmfreak92 The grommet / boot is on the upper left top passenger side corner of the firewall. you will be able to run about 2-3 wires through it. The wires come out behind the glove box then.. you can also pop the glovebox out really easy on the evo also.

  • @tscompusa how'd you get it through the cig lighter?

  • @jdmfreak92 take the center console off. very easy.. youll see once you do it.remove the center aprt of center console where the cups go etc.. theres screws underneith and then open up back part of center console theres screws in there then theres misc clips.. evo interior is all snap on plastic shit so its easy.. can rip the entire interior out in 5min almost LOL.

  • @tscompusa thanks a ton man im going to have to try that when the blizzard in nj stops -____-

  • Nice man :) Love it, how much power you putting down? And come check out my kelfords and let me know what you think of them

  • @evotuner04 putting down 601whp at just 32psi right now, hoping for about 680 at 40psi and 140mph traps on the stock ecu and maf.

  • @tscompusa thats crazy lol I cant wait for 400 or 450 haha...well done car take care of it :)

  • @evotuner04 all in the tune my friend. when you're ready contact me on here ill give you a deal on a tune.. i make the smoothest / nicest timing and fuel maps you'll probably ever see from a ecuflash tuner & can extract every last drop of power with zero knocksum.

  • Is that the stock 8 bov? Love the sound of the Kelfords, lopiest cams for your buck.

  • @haasguidod101 sorry i missed this comment somehow - its a forge type RS bov, handled 42psi so far!
