nah, back when this song was recorded autotune wasn't being used to the extent that it is today. His voice simply has aged, or he isn't in a state where he is able to sing that high note confidently. In the studio, you can take millions of takes and choose the perfect one which just happen to come out as this high note. This doesn't take away from this performance. In my humble opinion, everything about this show is spot on. Bon Jovi is a legend along with his band.

@MrMasoodrodman1 Its a plastic tube attached to a device called a "talk box" which takes the sound coming from the guitar, into a air tight box, then the sound is left to escape out of the plastic tube, which has the mic places next to it so you can hear the sound, that is being changed with his mouth:) thats what gives that "woah woah woah woah" sound during into and verses:)

@madevision Jon hasn't said anything about retiring. What I and many other fans think is that they will take a couple or a few years off after this July. Maybe do some solo work or pursue other fields. They would come back with a new album, do a few more tours, have a farewell tour, and go out with a bang.

They did this before after 1996. They took a few years off, did some solo work, plays, painting, and movies, and came back with a great album in Crush in 2000.
