I'm a Vietnamese student studying in Auckland, I feel really disappointed with some of my Vietnamese friends because after arriving in Auckland shortly, they changed their Vietnamese name to the English one. Some have a very easily called name but they still change. They argue with me that their Vietnamese names sound damn rustic that will make them uncomfortable when communicating with native people.
@sk8erboiNam As far as I am concerned, changing Vietnamese name into English name is not a problem to a certain extent, as you know, our Vietnamese names appear to be quit difficult for the others to call our names, so If you want to use your Vietnamese name, feel free to use it and vice versa.
I love you so much ! Dalena! I wish you alway beautiful!
