No, the slide is not suppose to be that loose on the frame. Go to ktog.org and search "loose slide to frame" It has a very good post on how to fix it.

My slide is almost Identical in the play no problem
Mine shoots flawless and stays on paper at 25 yards
check any gun that is able to work under adverse conditions and
you will see some play or you will get binding in Autos that is
m16 worst flaw to tight in Nam

my buddy picked one up from a gun show about 5 months ago, has a stiff trigger pull with alot of creep, but a decent gun none the less, nice vid
