This only works on people who have bi-racial hair or soft curls not the tight one's and are hair (kinky) we have to get it professionaly done in order to get that look
I am now transitioning from relaxed hair to natural hair. I have type 4 hair and have been transitioning for about 5 months. I haven't really been taking care of my hair properly and I want a prduct that's going to make transitioning better for me. I need to know if this product is right for me before I use.
@DiversePrincess This product isn't real for your hair at the state its in now, your permed ends are still straight so the hair milk WON'T do anything for it, this product is for people who have naturally curly hair, your hair isnt entirely curly yet because you have permed ends, you should wait until you cut your straight ends off (btw i'm transitioning too)
Notice that there wasn't any sisters in those demonstration videos. I don't like the way that the owner wears it and I wanted to see how other black women with our curl type uses it. This is great if you have very fine hair or a white or Latina hair texture or curl.
I tried the hair milk and did not like it. The product may claim to be used on any hair type but I'm here to say it doesn't. With so many women transitioning from relaxers to natural hair and looking for a product to help define it's curls without the crunch someone may want to contact some of your unhappy users to find out what went wrong. Unless you have so many success stories you don't have to worry about complaints anymore.
Carol's daughter hair milk leaves my hair dry, limp, and with a white flim everytime I try and use it. This product was a complete waste of my money. By the way I have type 4 hair.
No. Many of our hosts and HSN team use Carol's Daughter products and love them. This product is specifically for curly hair. So if that's you - go for it. And if you purchase from us and aren't satisfied, you have 30 days to return for a refund. Follow the link in the video description. Then you'll need to search for "Carol's Daughter" to find the products.
As far as I know, we have employees and customers of many different ethnic backgrounds with curly hair who have used it. I suggest you go to our website and read the customer reviews on the Hair Milk. Our customers are very open about how they like products. And you can see if there's anyone with your type hair to get the best insight.
I don't understand why they never show women with type 4 hair textures. Says alot about the product. My friend (with type 4B hair) auditioned for carol's daughter on hsn and was told her hair was too difficult to manage so the models that were chosen were either caucasian or asian. I don't have a problem with different ethnicities using these products but it sends a message that it doesn't work on hair that is more tightly curled.
@luvmynaturalhair2 A lot of multiethnic ads ignore type 4 hair.Message appears to be type 3s are the new "good hair" & type 4 is still "bad hair" even tho many type 4s can & do use CD products & not all type 3s like them. I'm 4a/b & use the hair butter, hair balm, elixir,Tui smoothie, mimosa hair honey & Rosemary mint shampoo/condish. The hair milk is very iffy & doesn't define my curls like KinkyCurly or CURLS Gel les C(sp?) .It creates frizz. I'm working on best uses for it on my hair.
@guenwyvar99 You're right about black hair (though I REFUSE to subject myself to that stupid gradient scheme of letters and numbers created for product marketing purposes) Multiethnic? Interesting. When I've searched for products (as of the viewing of this video, I'm officially walking away from product) I'm NEVER looking for multiethnic, I'm looking for product addressing the very UNIQUE circumstances of black African-descent hair and if it works for others, then good for them! Frizz-Use aloev
I luve hair milk. it brought back the natural curl that the flat iron took away. this hair milk brings a great curl back. i use it on wet hair. After it dries people think my hair is still wet. it is GREAT!!!
If you follow the link to our website in the video description and enter your email address in the "When to Watch" box on the page, we'll give you advance notice before Carol Price is back on HSN with Carol's Daughter products. And we usually have the new products available on our website at least 2-3 days before each visit, so you can shop while everything's in stock.
I hate how HSN has to target the "main" audience. (i.e. white women with straight/wavy hair) Why can't we have something exclusively to us?! I couldn't give a damn what the lady on the left was talking about! I wanted to know about the founder of Carol's Daughter and her products, not some women talking about "minor" stray hairs and how she has to put relazers in her hair. What bullshit. I'm furious.
We try to help anyone with problem hair regardless of her ethnicity, because women of multiple ethnic backgrounds have similar issues with curly, coarse, and/or dry hair. So although Lisa Price may have developed her product line originally for African Americans, you just can't keep great products a secret :) So the "exclusivity" should probably be better reserved for smart women instead of women of specific ethnicity. Thanks for sharing...
@HSN I was curious to see how these products would be "marketed". I am disappointed that you had no models representing the overwhelming majority of women buying this product! No brown-skinned black woman with kinky hair? Sorta ridiculous. I don't understand your politics, but I do understand your inclusion of white women. Though it's not your fault that millions of black women do not seem to realize that I they ONLY need organic oil and water for healthy, shiny, long hair.
hey that's not fair i'm a african american woman just like you? and I love carols daughter and also david babaii wild aid flat iron which by the way is a white man he has african american with my texture hair and it came out really nice!!! we use white products all the time so why can't they use ours? I think it's cool that she has things to work for everybody
@spareld You don't see on their commercials either. Ok, maybe a flash here or there of the latest mulatto superstar, but you not gonna find a dark-skinned, kinky headed woman on a premier hair gloss or whatever ad geared for WHITE WOMEN. Why the hell wasn't there a visibly black model on this show? Better yet, why don't black women think that's wrong? Better yet, why don't I just stop watching HSN --since they don't address it; and Carol's Daughter, since she does demand that they do?
@spareld I agree about us using white products & vice versa. That's been going on for years. HOWEVER !! It's very noticeable that those of us with supercurly type 4 hair always seem to be the only ones left out of such ads that supposedly feature products for EVERYBODY.
Truth, it smells like Pine sol, boyfriend hated when i put it in my hair, itworks well but smells like lemon sulfur, try karen's body beautiful hair milk
their are three hair types and some in between. Fine to Medum Cores to thick and ethnic hair. most black people have cores to thick and ethnic hair. this product is universal. i am african american with thick curly hair, simular to lisa's.
i think u guys r taking it the wrong way. I think she meant that her hair looks like it's naturally that way and she was suprised to hear that she used a product to get her hair like that because she thought she was born like that.
i am black and my hair is natural but it is really curly and thick but because I am african american I still need something that gives it definitions so her little statement like black people can not have naturally curly hair...forget her lisa your hair looks great!!!!
@naturalosity Well obviously, HSN ISN'T the place for the world to learn about 'afro textured hair', since it can't seem to make its way on the screen...
That's crap. I'm going natural and my bestie threatened me with physical harm if I put a relaxer in it ever again. She gets more excited over it sometimes, than I do.
Mind you, she's Puerto Rican with almost completly caucasian textured hair.
Why would a puerto rican woman with almost completly caucasian hair put a relaxer in her hair that's crap, i think perms are bad for every one. and you mind you cause no one aksed you.
I have it! It works very well
I also have the hair balm and heat protectant
