Hi, I am currently using 5.00 m33-6, however, I cant play this game. I have no problems with other cso / iso games... Whenever i select this, "psp error code 80020148" will pop up. However, I have disabled those UMD...what should i do yeah? :)

This is a sweet game...worth every penny...hell more like a steal! great deal on this game. But i remember the days playing video games with no continues or just one life...back when we didn't have youtube walk through to help us and we endured the pain and frustration ourselves. TRUE GAMERS LIVED IN THE 80 and early 90's!!!!

No. It's in there. Hold it down. You can walk backwards slowly. and I think you can jump backwards and shoot while holding it.

This is the worst Square Enix games ever made. There is no way to survive. There are no continues. No unlockables. One stage due to the infection of bad gameplay. Lasers cannot be powered-up. Everything consumes energy and it is not good. This is the number #1 worst games ever made. To all players who are planning to download this game on PS3, don't do it! You won't like this game. It's crap and that's the end. Don't say I didn't warn you.

You're too young to have played the original. Trust me, this is easier and more forgiving. You had one life, you didn't regen for ages because you were lucky to find energy, and enemies latched onto like herpes and you couldn't get them off, not to mention they were faster. To those initiated, this is more than a remade classic, it's a nod to the past when games really were hardcore.

Heh, listen to this kid. Welcome to Hell, son. In case you weren't aware, this is a remake of a game from 1985. A game where you had one life, and no continues. You know, 1985, back when games told you to fuck off and didn't hold your hand, and "easy" was pretty damn hard, and "hard was" you better have memorized the entire layout and every enemy position - then with a little luck you *might* make it to the final boss. And then die. And have to start from level 1 again.

@KarrdeBRBU Yeah, but most of that was akin to bad controls, game designers screwing with people and no real fear of some person making a review saying, 'this sucks, don't buy it' 'cause there was no internet. Not to mention difficulty was usualy used to lengthen ones needs of owning said game, some games were made harder here so you would buy them rather then rent them, like Battletoad's.

Also, you dont have to co collect the power up orbs, or stand there, they will follow and catch up to you, so just blow shit up and keep moving, also, take better advantage of your shield, it damages enemies on contact and destryos most of them, where as your lasers do the same but, your laser takes away from your actual health which you learned the hard way at 6:35.

Only thing is that Shield usage takes 10 units of health away per use. But it does have its benefits, in a way.

Meanwhile, can someone dump the music for this remake? Can't get enough of the music, especially the signature theme that came up in the TGS 2009 trailer.

Thats true but after like the 3rd level it's almost impossible to make it through a stage without your shield. But it is a major gamble on normal, but not using it on normal is certain death.

I don't know about the music, I agree it's pretty damn cool. I wish people actually played online though.

Dude sorry to say this but you kind of suck at this game, I thought maybe it was your 1st playthrough but you clearly know where some of the things are that only a person who has played a few times through knows. Its 10 levels the final is a freaking sweet boss battle. Best $9.99 I've ever spent, and it comes with online play most $40 dont have online play, though I rarely see anyone playing online.
