I like cartoony cartoons with characters that are alive and entertaining, like a Bob Clampett cartoon. not floating heads with poles stuck in their backs and glassy, lifeless movements.

It's like it was drawn by an autistic person. everything is completely dead and literal.

No, Limited animation can be used to make really lively cartoons. Just look at the first season of the Flintstones or John K's Ren and Stimpy.

These characters never change their poses or even facial expressions. it's almost as "on model" as Family Guy. The designs are decent, which makes me wonder what the gap is between the character designs and the direction.

The way these cartoons came back from Korea isn't very impressive. It just moves and nothing else. It's the direction that is keeping this cartoon down.

American does this for cheap labor. Paying an American animator can be much more expensive so they send it to Korea in order to save money.

Jeff Bennett, who does the voice of Kowalski in Penguins of Madagascar and Peppermint Larry in Flapjack. I'm pretty sure he also voiced that tastes-like-diabetes elf guy using his "Panfake" voice. And it's pretty obvious that Tom Kenny did the Cake Troll.
