i think if you run to the well on the 1st fight & cripple your opponent then jump down the well you skip 3 fights. also not kill anyone until the gun guy & take no damage you get a different ending. i could never do it, but it was in playstaion mags. but as the man said if you want to have fun play with some pals.

This game is awesome, I spent ages playing this with my mates! You can throw a sly dagger and flick mud up in people's eyes and shit! The second one introduced life bars and was nowhere near as good as this, although it looked better. Remake now! One hit-kills rule! Good vid also, laughed when it took acid and started tripping!

Yes most characters had a secondary weapon. One of them had a secondary weapon that if thrown properly could deliver a death blow. My favorite trick was using one of the shorter swords and running and making the enemy chase me and then turning sharply and delivering an instant deathblow to the torso. Worked every time on any difficulty. Just run..then turn and cut them hard in the gut hehe

Actually you can disable an opponent's arms or legs in BB. If you watch part one he disables an opponent's leg early on and the guy is limping around on one knee. Later he disables an opponent's arm and you can clearly see that the computer attempts to fight him with only one arm while the injured limb just hangs there.

Gun boy is actually pretty easy. If you dash at him and catch him in mid backflip (which is the only moving he does, pussy), you'll one shot him through the face and move on with your stupidity.

Amen, guns are the future, the sword is dead especially in my hands (pistol, not sword.) Plus, guns are more merciful, if u get shot you're going to die or be close to it. If you get cut by a sword, you might die, but if not, you'll live disfigured by some scar or another and that's worse than death (I have a Vega Vanity Complex.)

To see the second ending, you have to run all the way to that underground grotto in either of the first fights.

Run to the construction site, and jump down the hole. The fight will resume afterwards. And here's where it gets tricky. You have to defeat every foe without being hurt. After defeating the dojo master at the end, there'll be a special fight with a full armored samurai.

Just kill him. You don't have to worry if you die or get hurt by him. And there...you get your second ending.

i really liked bushido blade. even though it feels pretty unfinished, it was origional for the time and pretty cool.

i did however do slash mode (you get the handgun dude as playable if you kill all hundred without continues) and i got killed at 97! never did that mode again. i've had a lot of fun in vs mode with friends, though, batteling it out under the cherry blossoms. the old man with the nodachi rapes.

Ok Video. Though I dont share much of his opinion about it. It is a must have. This game was ahead of its contemporaries. Part 2 However was made more action and thus became total crap compared to this jewel. His fighting skills were not really good here, he can do better than that. There are so many details he did not even note. Damn. Should get it out again and play! (With 2 people it is much more fun of course.) One of the best games I know.

I often read people saying on forums that this one is better than the sequel. From what I see in gameplay vids and have read about it so far, it doesn't seem to be.

Bushido Blade 2 is a game I truly cherish; I have played it for long afternoons back in the, studying the game and trying to figure out its intricacies. It has an ingenious (yet not well-balanced) parrying system.

AND about the stances. The one were he has the sword in front, it's a defensive stance. The one with the sword over it's head is a offensive kendo stance. The other one is for swift attacks.
