  • That was very cool!

  • Hey, down in front!

  • Great medley! Love the arrangement. Can anyone tell me the name of the second song in this medley? It sounds familiar but the name escapes me. Thanks!

  • It's "For No One." It originally appeared on the 1966 "Revolver" album.

  • @bojangles215 "For No One" from the "Revolver" album

  • Great performance! Thanks to Bernd (Porsche217) for the share.

    Best wishes,

    Lilly

  • nice...

  • Richard Smith is absolutely awesome up there with the greats like Tom-E sorry I just saw Wall-E

  • I just saw Rich Smith a few days ago, and after doing the Beatles medley he said something to the effect of "I stole that first one from my good friend Tommy Emmanuel." so yeah, mainly it's Tommy's arrangement.

  • that is note per note the same as tommy's on day tripper, and I am sure Richard Smith would say the same thing... however, Richard plays it about 1.5 times as fast here as Tommy plays it... maybe to accomodate the cello part? Helluva video, 5 stars here and stored in the Acoustic Virtuosity archives (click bigdood). Congratulations!

  • tommy's version is so much better of every beatles song he does

  • day tripper is tommy emmanuels version

  • is day tripper tommy emmanuels version>?

  • no its my version

  • who are you you?

  • Oh oh so cool!

  • Ha ha! Excellent - love it
