I'm a 1st alto 2nd soprano so I knida get the best of both. but I always struggle with the last note, either I take too short of breath, my voice cracks, or I just stick with C. Either way, I'm scared of the last note o.O

The last note is an Eb6. The best way to think about it is an "aah" vowel as in "accident". The ones before it can come a little closer to the "ah" that you hear, but you'll need to drop your jaw and relax your tongue for all of them. Hope this makes sense and helps.

@TheFirebird23 Be careful not to overstress ur voice! Make sure u talk to ur teacher or have a teacher to help- any tiredness means u should rest. But try feeling it going up into an even higher extension for the E6, and feel all the notes before on one high level instead of dipping down- hope that helps, I'm an opera/piano student. But I just started opera. Hee! :)

How weird is it that I can hit the E flat at the end, but I can't hit the B? I go from the G to the A and can only go to A sharp. Yet from the A sharp, I can jump straight to the E flat and even higher, and I'm still singing and not screaming. Am I doing something wrong with the earlier notes?

@suki3275 Don't worry. It took me a week to stabilize the third set. I used to hit the B and then get squeaky if I try to sustain it. Now I can hold it a little longer and not crack.

I'm a mezzo soprano so I can do the low part, which the lowest note is a tinsie bit of a struggle for me but I can do it, and the high part and hit the note easily because I have whistle voice and can just flip into that. I like to sing this to myself a lot. ^_^

What is this about "female tenors"? There are no female tenors! 'Tenor" is a MALE voice part, not female. Also, there are NO male sopranos! "Soprano" is a FEMALE voice type!

Female voice parts: Soprano, mezzo-soprano, contralto

Male voice parts: countertenor, tenor, baritone, bass

See? NO female tenors, NO male sopranos.

@Akatsukialltheway, Same! I'm about a half-step off from the E-flat, and the Phantom's lowest note is the lowest note I can hit. For Christine's part, half the time I can only get to a D. The other half, I hit the E-flat for half a second and then get all squeaky.

I myself happen to be a female tenor as my voice is too low to comfortably be an alto. Therefore, I usually sing in the guy's section in my choir. There are male sopranos too, if you were interested.
