holy Ghost baptizm feels like a body perfect size coming in like me floating into you or you into me, I made short video telling about Jesus the God almighty entering into my body and how he treats next, you will be stunned if you watch video and know what God is really like, type in google, the man Jesus entered into like a body my perfect size
I wonder why God gave us words, are yes I remember now, to be able to praise His glorious name, the name above all names, Jesus, Jesus Jesus, there is nothing that is better than the sound of true orderly worship, this is for the most part an insult to our God,it began well, it ended well but it had a soft centre, I imagine that anything that we hear in heaven won't be anything like these confused mumblings,
@zerosparky9510 I agree with the bible, eh where is the interpreter? anyway I'm not the enemy here but I see you've had a visit from him in your comments, I also had a visit, I deleted him and then blocked him he's obviously seeking whom he can devour,
In fact, this was the kind of singing described during the welsh revival or the early 1900's and the same that came out of Canada in the late 40's. I miss it, oh how I miss it. What we have today is so shallow and hollow. I hunger for worship like this again.
This worship is timeless. I remember back in the early 90s as a young boy hearing this come out of the people in our church. Now it seems worship music/time is all about self-encouragement.
I used to go to interdenominational churches in the1980's and enjoyed this type of singing in the spirit. But, you can't find this anymore in churches.
@johnny102marvin I understand "you can't find this anymore in churches," Worship has changed it's face somewhat, but singing without words, or, in the Spirit, is still done and happens in many places/situations. At my fellowship, Antioch Community Church, Waco, TX. we arrive at something similar to this in many of our services. The main thing, however, is that worship & praise comes from your heart to God for who He is & what He's done. Worship has millions of different sounds...and appearances!
buzzobug....it is not just my view of scripture my friend. Please read 1 Corinthians 14:22 and understand the epistle to the Messianic congregation at Corinth was an epistle of admonition, to correct and reprove them. A major issue with many churches today is the congregation are quite happy to babble along, falling about, barking like dogs etc etc etc but where is the Reverence to YHWH and the love for the widow and orphan. Be blessed
@wella61 i understand it is your view of scripture. the Corinthian church had many problems , remember at the first chapter where Paul talks about how they said, "one says i am of Paul... one says i am of Peter>>> so forth. a very divided church. Just as the church is very divided today. and if i was in a church where somebody was barking then i would think that they had a demon. I happen to know a couple that were up in Toron.. Canada at the time when all that was going on. and i do agree..
@buzzobug , i do agree with you that where is the love for the widow , orphans, for the poor? I am an old gezzer now. and my wife and i were married late in life, but God has blessed us with a beautiful daughter and i worry about her if something was to happen to the both of us. It would kill me to think if she was an orphan. my daughter is now 2 years old. I am age 55. God bless you in God the Son, the Lord Jesus
Hi Bro......I know exactly what it is and what it is not........I can speak in tongues and sing in tongues and pray in tongues but it is all of self...........self edification and it certainly is not Biblical. I would not edify any member of my congregation by doing it and you have to understand tongues (Languages really) was a sign.......a sign to unbelievers.....it's all there in Holy Scripture. What is happening today is a prostitution of what YHWH gave at Pesach. Be blessed
@wella61 ,sorry bro, but i think you are quite wrong on your your view of scripture. And i can pray in tongues too. i try and sing but at least God likes it. Ha if i sing very loud in church i might get stoned. And i think all the gifts of the Spirit are for today. And if then it will happen through out the church age until the Lord Jesus returns at which that time the gifts of the spirit will no longer be needed. yes what is happening today in some churches is wrong. God bless
@wella61 , it is called singing in the Spirit and it still goes on today . Just wait to you get to Heaven and ask God about it then. Remember in the Old Testament when Michael got mad at King David and it says she was barren to the day of her death. You want to know why? It was because King David quit sleeping with her. What does that say about today. It says when you choose to disbelieve what God is doing < spiritual gifts , then you will not experience the intimacy of God. think.
the two guys on stage with John praying, one is Blaine Cook and the other one i think is Tom Stipe who now leads a Calvary Chapel church in Denver , Colo. I went to the 1987 signs and wonders conf in Anaheim, Calif. what a great week. Wish i could do that again. All praise to the Lord Most HIgh. the Lord Jesus
l believe very well and can sense that this kind of worship would be restored to the body of Christ in this last days before Christ Jesus appears in His Glory. This is a real worship of the God kind. Regards Rev. Clement
This is so wonderful. I yearn to worship God in an environment of faith and adoration like this - in a place where His Spirit is welcome. Sadly, many Churches do not have His presence resting on them like this.
What a powerful song and prayer! I was watching an earlier JW video on healing and my wifes best friend rang to say her little boy was in the local hospital with a broken leg...what a privilege to go from this and pray with them both asking for healing and to bring in the peace of God!
@hobbit14590 That is very good to hear. I hope the influence of John and the Vineyard movement, as well as any other good Christian influence, will be upon the UK church for a long time.
I hope so too. The church in the UK needs to be 'doing the stuff' more, bringing the kingdom of God to this country.
John was deffinately a modern day apostle in my opinion to the UK church, his influence went far beyond the Vineyard church into Anglican, Baptist, Pentecostal and New/'house' Churches (e.g. especially church networks such as Newfrontiers and Pioneer).
Lord I pray that you would move upon the UK by your Spirit, we need you so much Jesus.
'Spirit of the Living God' is a fantastic worship song as well.
It's a shame we don't sing this song a lot any more, there's a great truth in the words of the song, allowing the presence of God to rest on us, and ultimately change us.
John first came to the UK at Pentecost in 1981 to St Andrews Chorleywood, near London and had a considerable impact on the people there.
He also did quite a few conferences throughout the 80's and into the 90's in the UK.
Yes - I do. John Wimber had quite a shaping influence on the charismatic renewal in the Anglican Church. His relaxed approach was very suited to the British temperament. I think that made him very attractive to those in renewal circles. And his theology was quite well thought out by charismatic standards and at heart quite conservative. He also influenced the British church by introducing the Vineyard Movement toBritain. And of course the Vineyard style of worship still is popular in Britain.
This clip of John Wimber leading a congregation in worship is like a little cameo of the 80's. Singing in the Spirit was for many the high point of worship. The haunting "Spirit of the Living God" was one of those real heart cry songs. And John Wimber had enormous influence on the church, especially in Britain. Quite moved when I first watched this video.

@rotwiler50 , i would suggest reading 1st Corinthians 14 and study it. get it? IN the church tongues is to be allowed. Paul said this. read it.

This is the true holy spirit of God.
We need to get back to this instead of the wackiness that is going on today.
Interestingley John did oppose it at the the time.
He had descernment.
The church is lacking this today.

John Wimber still has a big influence on the British church and events in the UK such as New Wine and Soul Survivor.
I wasn't around when John was but his teaching has affected me a lot.
I wish I could have heard him speak personally.
John brought a non-hype,relaxed and down to earth approach to the church in the UK.
John's and the Vineyard effect's on the UK can deffinately still be felt.
Thank you Lord for John and the Vineyard.
