@GUNDAM00745 That's not what happened. If you're basing that statement just by watching the Unlimited Blade Works movie, that's just pure fail. Shirou was able to over power Gilgamesh because he suprised him by casting UBW. UBW basically cancels out the Gates of Babylon to which the King of Heroes panicked and forced to resort to Melee combat. Shirou never gave him an opening and was extremely exhausted at that point, having enough energy for what would be the final blow.

But Shirou himself had to fight his own ideals to reach the resolve he had when he fought Gilgamesh. The very borrowed ideals Gilgamesh insulted and thought pointless. Shirou had the pure epicness to defeat the King of Heroes with those ideals. Thus shattering his concept of real and fake.

Hence her ideal saved countless lives and pretty much gave way to our current way of life where we have this much freedom and opportunities in life, i doubt you'll get that in those communist countries.
