diese band hat keine Konkurenz, die Musik ist einzigartig, ganz fantastische harmoniefolgen, ganz grosse könner.I love this band schon fast 40 jahren...great.
Prefer this version to the album version myself. The synths are a bit much on the album, particularly on the chorus. Both versions kick ass though. What's with the commentary from the retarded back up singers? Fagen and Becker being aloof..."Hey, you! Backup singers! Go talk to the cameras for us!"
Just like the rest of the entire Steely Dan discography, inclusive of Fagen and Becker's solo work: Immaculate, but by no means sterile. Only meant for the true connoisseur. For those who can appreciate it, it's the epitome of sublime. I can't wait for what's next from either/both of these two. Please tell me there's more!
Even more like the songs on Kamakiriad. Maybe not as well known... (?)
I liked the Amazon review for it:
Any major dude will tell you that this immaculate jazz-pop collection sounds like it could have been recorded mere months, not 11 years, after The Nightfly. A Steely Dan LP in all but name, Fagen and Walter Becker offer killer horn charts, lite-funk grooves, airy guitar riffs and hipster sci-fi lyrics. --Jeff Bateman
I haven't listened to anything off The Nightfly. But if there are similarities to this track, it'll be the next thing I search on youtube. Two Against Nature is my favorite Dan album. More mature than Aja IMHO.
@remoman - That would be Carolyn Leonheart ( she is also the trumpet players brother ) , although I must say Vicky Cave ( the one on the left ) is just insanely hot to me. When she was not banging it out for Dan, she sang in Broadway Musicals, Plays her Tenor Sax and is a pro ice skater.

The drummer is Ricky Lawson. Google him...Michael Jackson employed him steadily for years, among others.

@mattisprettycool It was one of nine songs that collectively won "Album of the Year". So...no.

@CharlieSidewalk I'm thinkin' the only part of this song that sucks is the tin ear it must go through on the way to mattisprettycool's alleged brain.
