how do i put movie on my external hd i already have games on it and such i have the mp player on sd card etc and other stuf but how do i load movie from WBFS Manager 3.0 can i put all video files in a map and play it?

Also, something very important you failed to mention: Do you have to install the MPlayer off of the SD every time you need to watch a DVD? I realized that the Wii doesn't store the MPlayer in it's console. Or am I missing something here?

The Homebrew Channel 1.0.7 or newer makes DVDX obsolete.

There is a stop button on the video recorder. No reason you have to leave the stutter in and not start over.

Whenever I try mounting a DVD, it says mounting and does not even spin my disc and that's it. I tried two DVDs so I know it's now one's problem. I got my Wii on release day and it's not new, it's very old :b do you know what's wrong? :(

I got mine on release as well, from what I know our consoles are DVD compatible.

@WhatYouWantInSpadez I believe they are. Only the new ones aren't. Did you get this working? I never did, and I'm on 4.3u firmware, so maybe has to do with the firmware?

Okay..I want to play games on my wii for free, how do i do that? I have homebrew, so which is the name of the program that makes me download wii games on my laptop & put it on my wii than load it on homebrew than i delete the game from my flash?????? or SD card???? Other than USB loader GX

I dnt think this works with the newer wiis. Mine freezes when the Mounting DVD disappears. The CD Drive wont even run.

@Blazersenior06 Same here, though I bought my Wii the first day it was released and had it since then. So it's not the newer Wiis. Maybe DVDX? :/

I think you are misunderstanding his question. He is asking how to make a MPlayer CE "channel" - which you don't show in the video.

To answer the question. You need a "MPlayer CE.wad" file (or whatever they are called) and a Wad manager program where you install those ".wad" files ...

@ElectronicHackz Hey dude my buddy softmodded my wii to get homebrew for me so i dont have a sd card i have bean useing my usb works fine for emulators and stuff i also used this thing forgot what it was to update my wii menu to 4.3u So to the point i get it on my usb load it up on homebrew and it says it cant find the file thingy and it thinks its on the worng directory but i put it in my apps folder :o

Also, check to make sure that the folder "apps" is on the root of your SD card ;)
