I always liked how they didn't dumb it down to a 'kids' level. They really gave the audience the respect that a lot of other show didnt and still dont give.

A mini series would be a good jump off to getting a new series done.

This, MASK, and Jayce and the wheeled warriors are three shows I think would actually do well if they were to come back.

I agree, I had the Dredd one man air attack ship that interacted with the video cassset that e-jected the pilot if the ship was targeted. What piloted my Dredd ship, besides me holding it in the air, was a green bio-Dredd capable of underwater fighting, and it never made an appearence on the television show. How messed up is that?

god i love t his stuff! but i think there's too many parallels between terminator and BSG to stand alone as a remade series. even in the 80's when it was new it's obvious.. scout looks like boba fett, half the guns look like rebel blasters, Power looks like Judge Dred lol..

One of the things that bugged me about the plot is that if sauron is such a key part of the dread empire why the fuck was there only one of him?

I could be wrong on this, but if I'm not mistaken, The Flashback episode that showed that the machine that Dread used to create him was destroyed when Sauron was born...The second time Dread tried to make others, again, the facility was destroyed when Blastarr was born...It takes a lot of time and a lot of energy to create a Bio-Dread...

I think it has more to do with working with a limited tv budget and having to write scripts around that. It just seems like the dread empire should be alot better at what they do than they appear in the show.

You would think that since the big movie companies are making feature films out of old 80s cartoons, that they would consider making an interactive film out of Captain Power. Re-Launch the toy line and fill the theaters with annoying kids shooting at the screen. Forget about Thundercats... Captain Power should be a hit!

Well if Captain Power was to be remade it should be redone as a updated on the classic series in the style of what Ron Moore did for Battlestar Galactica.

It would be cool to see a updated version and take out all the kid stuff and make it more like a real sci-fi series like the new Battlestar Galactica series and StarTrek. If they were to do that this show would rock even more.

Love the acting from Sven-Ole Thorsen at 3:34. Lol. This guy has actually starred in movies like Leathal Weapon, The Gladiator, The Predator, Conan The Barbarian and alot of other movies. But he doesnt usually have lines in the movies and you can see why from this clip :)

I remember Captain Power. I use to have the little space ship/ gun contraption to shoot the flashing shapes. Seeing it now reminds me of a cross between Judge Dread, Power Rangers, and Flash Gordon.
