  • hey i know keysi is better cuz its mma's weakness n keysi is spanish martial arts.. spanish can kick ass i love keysi but idk where to find them in miamifl i live in sweetwater fl but idk where thier is classes in miami

  • I really wish i could hear what he was saying over the music

  • Well I've put this to the test against an MMA guy. I realize it comes down to the individual. However when a jujitsu guy gets you in his guard, and expects you to wrestle around with him..and gets pummeled instead, it didn't work out for the jujitsu guy. Trained responses are the worst thing going nowadays. Just sayin.

  • First off, let me make it clear that I am NOT mocking the KFM. These guys have their own style which appears to be very effective & compatible with other martial arts. However as a BJJ practitioner I can say that against anyone who knows what he's doing, this would be REALLY hard to pull off. Why? Because when someone has you in their guard, they're not just sitting there but always monitoring and controlling your hands. Also any downward arm move aids the BJJ guy to do a punch-through triangle.

  • @OcelotTheGunslinger unless you punch him in the dick first

  • 2 years Judo, some cross with BJJ. I honestly don't know what I'd do to hold the guard in that situation. Maybe try to control the first elbow and go for sweep into an armbar? Not even sure that would work. Newaza training should be fun this week :D

  • SAS train this style

  • I definitely like the use of elbows in this. I've trained in bjj enough to think on the ground a lot and this is very unorthodox but i like it. I would love to train in this

  • Great music, but I'd like to hear what he's saying too.

  • youll never encounter a closed guard on the street and in mma where you will ,this wont work.Interestling ive never seen any footage of keysi sparring, does it en exist.Id be willing to bet they wont be able to use most of their methods full contact and theyll look just like bad standard mma fighters.

  • is there any keysi schools in Tennessee. Nashville area preferably?

  • what's the name of the song?

  • @halorulesyourface arch enemy - my apocalypse

  • watch out for a triangle!!!!

  • There is lots of arguing on these fighting videos about which system is better etc. but the bottom line is no matter what your chosen discipline, it's only as effective as the person using it. At top level every style has advantages and weaknesses but the better guy will win no matter what. If you study different systems you should appreciate what other systems have to offer and respect the fact that we all like different things.

  • This actually seems ok. The only question I have is what happens if you are already in full guard?

  • The music is too fucking loud, dude. It's bad enough he's not speaking in his first language; I wan't to hear him, not some stupid track trying to make KFM seem more "badass."

  • Keysi Fighting Method. Step 1: Put hand to your face and form shitty guard. Step 2: Start swinging at your fastest pace vs compliant and much slower opponent. Step 3: Make up a bunch of lies about how you fought 999999 fights yet strangely not a single one was documented nor were your amazing feats. Step 4: charge dumbfucks money for your new system

  • @Lejendary2 Please visit a KFM academy before you judge it. Partners are not compliant during training. This is a demo video for advertising not a reflection of training in the academy.

  • @auralvampire1 no, you visit a well known bjj, boxing, kickboxing, whatever as long as it is known for its success in hand to hand combat dojo. Then post the video. Until then stop lying

  • @Lejendary2 Again its very easy for you to talk alot of smack online...go to an authorized KFM school and see for yourself. Why is that so hard for you to understand. Go talk smack to some KFM guys in person then whip everyones ass there, videotape it then show us all how wrong we are. Until then stop trolling around. You have no idea what your talking about and thinking you do because you watched a video on youtube just shows how ignorant you are.

  • @auralvampire1 talk smack? Fag I was amateur boxing champion of ontario at one point. 2 years of bjj. You KFM faggots and others who make up "arts", make claims of effectiveness, steal cash, time and dreams never back yourselves up. I don't need to prove KFM, you do.

  • @Lejendary2 I fight in MMA. So you should check who your talkin to before you start calling people fag like a child. Our academy trains KFM, BJJ and M.T. and is one of the most respected in the world. . And KFM has nothing to prove to you. YOU are the one who got on here talkin shit about it so YOU should go to a school that teaches it and back up your talk. Not replyin to anymore troll talk from you. You ever in D.C. message me. Come to our academy anytime and roll with me instead of talk.

  • @auralvampire1 LOLOLOL "I fight in mma". No one gives a shit. You fight some local tournament vs joes backyard mma and bjj practitioner with his blue belt from joe schmoe.

Give me your name, ill see your record and your opponents and fuck off if you have credibility.

  • Comment removed

  • @auralvampire1 you have the reading comprehension of a dumb blonde. I said "I fight mma" gives absolutely no credibility

  • @Lejendary2 LMAO All this big talk from a guy who listens to Lady Gaga. hahahahahahahaha.

  • @auralvampire1 Yeah bro, you dodge that argument by commenting on what I like in music.

  • @auralvampire1 Thats a statement not an argument you stupid fuck. Wait, I suddenly see consistency in you. Keep doing what you're doing.

  • @auralvampire1 Not interested in getting into your argument or a big debate but what has listening to any music form have to do with somebody's fighting ability? I think there are lots of fighters you like that also like Lady Ga Ga and similar acts. Music is nothing to do with how tough somebody is. Bear in mind I'm only wondering due to your quote so please excuse me if I have missed an earlier point in your debate.

  • these self defense systems like this DO work if you practice ALOT. they may or may not work in the cage but you will be able to destroy the average tough guy in the street...

  • @sirmiklo the only people that use guard or can fight on the ground at all are trained martial artists so this tech is only applicable to them

  • Great video, but please chill on the "music" and add volume to the instructor's voice. Keep up the great work guys!

  • is this in tekken?

  • SUBTITLES!!!!!!!

  • That's a pretty unique way to escape the guard lol

  • haha i am going to use this on my GF :D

  • It's hard enough to understand what he's saying with his accent and talking into another man's chest, but when you add in the music I can't understand a word he's sayin'. I'd really like to hear his words to get the instruction correctly.

  • Let me get this straight....a demo is proof of a fighting system's effectiveness? A demo is just that; a controlled demonstration of prescribed reaction to a prescribed movement. If Keysi Fighting System wants to show it's effectiveness, let it be proven in an uncontrolled, chaotic and random environment. What I see in this video is nothing more than kata. Let's see some kumite!

  • I started KM training 3 weeks ago, and its fun as hell, but this and Systema looks really cool too.

I guess I like brutal euro and russian streetfighting more than martial arts.

    On youtube anyway.

  • simple and direct.

  • Nice idea to add music, when guy talk how to do it. Retard.

  • i gotta admit that when i first heard about Keysi back in '04, i was skeptical but i'm blown away by it. it's a very effective close quarter style and i'd love to learn it, if there's a branch in Toronto.

  • in the real world need to strike your way trough to get out of a position like that, elbows migh be a very good solution,But that cannot be taught as a "sequence" it makes little or no sense like that, if your opponent is keeping you there, he probably knows what he's doing, if you don't have any real ground fighting experience you're probably fucked, and this Keysi thing isn't gonna save you if you have some serious ground training things change... but you will need this shit even less.

  • @platipo

If you ge ton the ground in a street fight in the first place you're pretty fucked. Were I train if someone start grappling on the ground too long, another guy comes and kick him off his opponent.

In real life, while you're playing on the ground his mates will kick your head in.

    Get up ASAP!

  • this makes - in my opinion - much more sense than most ground techniques, I remember being told to grab the opponents body and standing up, this may barely work in training, in reality a hard elbow strike will help much more

  • The founders have training in JKD, you can see the influence. I like the elbow strikes to all parts of the body, but to the bottom of the snicker, not good.

  • well, at the only moment he does! there's no reason for him to uncross his legs and let the guy standup

  • He's had an elbow driven into his sternum, knocking the air out of him, then he's spiked in the thigh twice. The top man is covered tight, its let go or keep taking those spikes to the chest and legs. Real quick and as hard as you can bring the point of your elbow into your thigh, it hurts a lot.

  • I on't quite understand... why is the guy on the bottom opening his guard? This looks like the usual self defense bullshit by self called "experts"

  • at which point?

  • @Trig0r It was from 2002 - 2005 with richard wallace of boston unfortunately richard could not keep afford to carry on with it , and during sparring between me & richard my knee was destroyed I have a four inch screw holding the bone in place in my knee. I was in plaster for three months and off work for seven months.I returned to training but was unable to spar again because of the damage to my knee.

  • @platipo /sigh it is very hard to maaintain a proper guard while being struck like this. People like assuming that a person is just going to sit there and let them hold guard. I will tell you what we always see BJJ one on one how about we see some demos vs multiple opponents

  • Jesus I used to train in KFM and Andy & Justo are incredible people and know what they are talking about ,Justo has many stories of his tough life in spain growing up there.Unless you have trained in KFM keep your opinions to yourselves.Because you have no idea what your talking about or how pathetic your comments are .

  • i like ur comment

  • true

  • @4030bing ude just looking at that guard escape i can say he has never sparred a real skilled grappler.Anyways,I am searching all over youtube for real life sparring vids of Keysi. Are there any real fight vids or full sparrs? All I see is demo's or simulated fights.

  • @4030bing if posters wanted us to keep opinions to ourselves, why is it on a public forum with a comment feature ?I have no personal experience with kfm apart from video but this tech right here is bullshit, there is no way elbows to the legs make any difference whatsoever to a trained fighter(nobody else would use guard). If this worked it would be ideal for mma,do you see anyone doing it?

  • @billysue2 You really should not make comments on something you have no experience of, you have not got a clue what you are talking about kfm was not designed for the ring it is designed for survival your own wellbeing not giving someone a dead leg in the ring or a cut above the eye to get the fight stopped .

  • the surfwyke!!! i would love to take the challenge from these guys!!! on the ground theres nothing better than bjj,, if you knew ground fighting ,!! u will see that all those moves are harmless!!! and dont work in real life!!

  • @m2orrego lol ok lets put three guys on you and see how your ground game goes. If I was in a self defense situation and had to choose between BJJ and KFM I will choose KFM any day of the week. I always see BJJ proof demos one on one. I would love to see BJJ demos with more then one person attacking.See how well your guard works then......

  • So the sure-fire way to escape the guard is to flail with your elbows...somebody should have told that to all these fighters who fought against Gracies in Gracie challenges...

BTW why does the bottom guy open his guard?

  • He's digging his elbows into his thighs, not just flopping them around. It does work and it hurst like a bastard, it gets real hard to keep a guard when someone is doing that to you.

  • great content, awful mixing of audio tracks. just awful

  • whats with the crap music i couldn't hear the guy speak

  • I challenge any of you cyber experts to come and play with a real keysi fighter, beleive me that this system is very brutal and faster than the average bear.

Justo and andy have developed a very good system.

  • @TheSurfwyke dude just looking at that guard escape i can say he has never sparred a real skilled grappler.Anyways,I am searching all over youtube for real life sparring vids of Keysi. Are there any real fight vids or full sparrs? All I see is demo's or simulated fights.

  • @TheSurfwyke Yes, i believe they have a very good self defense system going. But one thing I don't understand is that why don't they use a little more punches. All I see in demonstrations are mostly elbows. Elbows are amazing but that means you have to get very close to your opponent. Do they use that many elbows?

  • Why the gay music???!!

  • Why are you gay AmericanMonk? Your name even sucks.

  • To all the guys who say "oh yeah just punch and/or kick him in the balls/knees/head one time and bob's your uncle". That unless you are very very lucky, is a big pile of horseshit.

  • Yea i dont think it would be this easy either, for one 3 inches of striking range with a twisting elbow isnt going to be felt with any sort of average adrenaline and pro or even amateur's have better guards than this.

  • Okay, some faggs just say stupid things like "The guy's not even resisting".

But now faggs are saying that the downward elbows wouldnt hurt? Get the fuck outa here. You dont train, and you never have.

Probably never felt or thrown an elbow in your life. Cunt

  • The technics are not inherently bad, just the way they done is not going to work so smoothly under some real pressure. Haha you dont know anything about who ive trained with, you are going to get yourself hurt someday kid. Learn to work on your social skills

  • Wow, apparently you're gayer than even you realize. Good job loser.

  • Overall you're probably right, but it's a sensible thing to try in combat. Never know when you're gonna find an opening, right.

  • "all you gotta do is punch him in the balls, job done". If you think that's all there is to a situation like that, then you've never been in a proper fight, and I hope you don't find out the hard way just how difficult it is.

  • This move is for MMA competition... there is rules for not allowing punches in the balls...

  • awesome

  • Hoy me examino de grado amarillo. mi profesor es fernando gomez.. estoy impaaciente por conocer a justo en persona y espero conocerlo cuando me examine de negro, pero tdavia me falta un poco.

  • the thing I love about this system is that you can learn to use it by just watching. Most of it is simple enough for that! I know like 20 techniques just from all the sample videos on here and the website. i'm definitely signing up for the online training university!

  • KFM IS GREAT!!!!!!!

  • is it just me or is this upside down? werid youtube glitch =)

  • it was a thing that youtube did for april fools
