  • you can't melt the kno3, and you don't need to melt the sugar either

  • funny question, but what is iron oxide and where to get it?

  • @LinardsHunteR Iron oxide is AKA rust, you can buy it in chemical suppliers as a red powder, it is sometimes sold as an Artist's pigment (specialist Art stores) & you can make it yourself

    watch?v=I4ps5RvdiaI

(first one I found, probably other methods out there too.. music's quite chilled out on this one though)

  • @marsCubed

    thaks for help! :)

  • Heard the song, instant mute

  • Hi m8,gr8 vid.Just wondering when making your own motors I gather you arnt using parachute. If so how would one go about incororating a bp charge to it .Doesnt the burn usually start at the opposite end to the nozzle?

    Sorry about all the Q's

  • can i replace kno3 with kclo3 ?

  • The narrator at 1:38 sounds like he's struggling to stay awake. This guy does NOT have a future as a media news anchor.

  • You didnt explain what the nozzle was made of...

  • Holy-Terrorist:>*=* In 1:00 are peanut butter?

  • no, because potassium chlorate is liquid, but birium nitrate will. you can get it from normal sparklers.

  • @awsometotheawsomest

just correcting you potassium chlorate can be turned into crystals all you need to do is cool the solution down so they are able to form

  • @jordorama1 sorry, i was practacly falling asleep, but im pretty sure it wont replace potasuim nitrate.

  • Can the potassium nitrate be substituted with potassium chlorate?

  • You "can and will not be held responsible"?" LOL

  • What is exactly in the pan when you start to mix from 0:40, which are ingredients

  • "We can and will not be held responsible" XD

  • now that you can make rocket fuel now MAKE ME A SANDWICH!

  • ive heard of using glucose as well as sucrose. does the glucose work as a fuel as well?

  • @mmfwclGizmo IF I may answer this question, GLucose works even BETTER than sucrose. Less likely to burn while cooking, less likely to auto-ignite, and less brittle.

  • @mmfwclGizmo Glucose is even better. Sugar is just much easier for a lot of people to get their hands on. ;)

  • @mmfwclGizmo As others have said, it works considerably better...if you want to make some, then look for "Dextrose" in the store which is basically another name for regular glucose. Also, if you really want to try something new, then use "Sorbitol" - personally, its my favorite.

  • this is how to make a smoke bomb NOT a rocket

  • @Living4fishing No, this is the recipe for R-Candy. Smoke bombs will usually have a ingredient such as sodium bicarbonate added so it puts out the flame and produces more smoke. The right amount allows the mixture to burn constantly and slowly while it produces alot of smoke. This shown in the video burns very fast like a traditional R-Candy rocket.

  • kool,

  • add 1,3 grams of ashes to 200 grams of sugar kno3 mix..

  • This should be in a WWE SMACKDOWN VS RAW 2012 GAME OR WWE PAY PER VIEW FEATURED SONG!!!!!! GOOD SONG FOR KANE!!!

  • I did a rocket fuel for my science project in 8th grade the teacher excepted it but he thought I was crazy when I asked if I could do it but when I did he liked it a lot. I got an A XD

  • 2:17 Good old fashioned trial-and-error. Happy flying!
