Finally, people on the team will have a reason to shoot down air support instead of ignoring it and going only for their own kills. People ignore it and go for the kills too often now and that's why it stays up so long. Besides the fact that trying to shoot it down is risking your life since you have to be looking up in the air, making it hard to be aware of what is around you and the spy planes are so hard to find many times in Black Ops.
