  • So 750 new in box is a good deal or not it doesn't come with anything

  • I put a Vortex Sparc red dot on mine. Price point was right at $199.00, and the reviews were all positive, and I'm here to tell you it's dead nuts accurate, and rugged.

  • Aimpoint CompM4 for your optic

  • Is $890 a good price for this rifle?????

  • @iShootAmmo Go to Gunbroker and search "Bushmaster ar 15" You'll find cheaper prices.

  • @iShootAmmo Brand new?? YES! If used try to get it for 800.. This rifle brand new is about 1,100 most places

  • I clean my guns on that same Wally world tv dinner tray!! Haha what's the price tag on that bushmaster that model out here in Vegas is 900$ just don't know if that's reasonable I'm a pistol dude don't know alot about rifles .

  • @Pnutt5100 about $1100.00 i bought it during the hipe of the obama craze so prices wher a little jacked up then, i think. now i can get one here in Texas for $900.00 , i think thats about the norm brand new.

    Thanks

  • Great looking rifle man

  • Hey are the rail mounts where the carry handle was picatinny rails

  • @gtrmn355 take the damn carryin handle off

  • for some reason i cant find a video with a xm15-e2s optics ready. I own one. I have no iron sights. which is fine with me. i have an eotech 512 aa battery powered holo with a 4x magnifier on a flip to side base. Im looking for others that have different setups. I almost bought the Trijcon ACOG/red dot.

  • Bushmaster makes great little carbines. Magpul rules all.

  • Very nice rifle. I purchased a Sharps Rifle Co. lower and I'm a little torn between building a battle rifle or a stainless 24" bull for touching way out there. Gota love iron sights man very fun to and cheeper on the empty piggy bank. call me nuts but I hate red dots. keep it irons it's not unrealistic to hit a center of mass at 600 yards. It's very tough and it doesn't happen every time but we've done it with even the WASR 10 AK. Stay safe man later.

  • @backburnerart. Check out sootch00's youtube channel! He has a review on a Leatherwood CMR 1-4x24 scope! He has it on his BM! Great scope!

  • great rifle. i have the same thing more or less. my rifle has a standard stock and no muzzle break. all in all a pleasure to shoot. gonna change out the handguards and put a new stock on it. but its a great gun. nice video.

  • hey man i jus bought this same ar did you do anything to break in the barrel or jus go out and let em rip

  • @USpatriot88..when you first start shooting it, lube the heck out of the upper, clean the barrel after every 3 shot or so for the first few boxes (its a pain, but recommended for a new rifle). you're groups will get tighter until you run a hundred or so rounds through it (my best is .31 inch, 5 shots, 100 yds, smaller than a dime).

  • Whooo hooo! I'm not the only that loves iron sights! (the optic obsession is weird)

  • @bsrman36 ...heck yeah. there's no reason to drop $300-$1000 on a reflex sight if you know how to get a proper site picture quickly...i'll dump a full mag at 50 yds in about 20 seconds and cover all the holes with a milk cap....

  • Backburnerart, go get your bolt carrier properly staked, add an H2 weight buffer, and upgrade your bolt to a true mil-spec bravocompanyusa bolt. theyre about $60. The factory Bushmaster bolts are not mil-spec and can break.

  • get a EOTEC man

  • Hey BB...nice choice on the BM rifle..there are many like it, but that one is yours..all BM are mill-spec..you GTG..upgrade your HG to four rails Pict and the pistol grip...w/ scope..go with w/ Eotech w/ magnifer..Your bayonet M7 will not fit properly that 16.1 barrel. Lug comes standard on all rifle...Colt are higher standrd and more value on re-sale..either one is fine..

  • @dragonz72 Bushmasters are far from mil-spec. You dont know much about ARs

  • Colt owner? Quit repeating garbage you read ten years ago. Unless you're a member of the military or law enforcement, you've never even seen what mil-spec looks like. Barrel 4150 chrome lined 1:9, plated upper. The parts that count in a civilian model are mil-spec. Everyone who ever tries to make that argument is trying to justify why they payed 2X the price. I own this gun, carried the real 'mil-spec' M-4 in Iraq. Just shot .33 groups with a Wal-Mart scope @100 yds with this one.

  • @cademere Check my channel I own a Bushmaster. Just because the barrel is 4150 doesn't mean milspec. Also, BM bolts are not shot peened or magnetic particle tested. They also do not have the proper M4 extractor insert per milspec. The barrel also is not hi-pressure tested and magnetic particle tested. BM gas keys also are not properly staked. I know my stuff man trust me. I wasn't trying to diss you, I too own a Bushy.

  • Those tests are quality control tests that were sold to the DOD as a part of a procurement contract and are now used as selling points in the civilian market to justify the price tag. Those tests just prevent impurities and imperfections in the metal of machined parts. High end hunting rifle manufacturers don't use them on finished rifles. We're arguing semantics. To me, "mil-spec" means that dimensions, materials, accuracy (.31-.44), performance (5000+ rnds), and quality are equal (or better).

  • If you believe that "mil-spec" means made in the same factory and went through the same amount of (sometimes unnecessary) testing, the the BM is not milspec.

  • @cademere Yeah that was kind of my point.

  • @cademere Agreed. Usually unless the person is gonna be running carbine courses, and just generally shooting the piss out of the rifle most rifles will be fine. However for those that run their rifles hard, the extra QC steps can be worth it.

I have no problems recommending a Bushmaster, however if they're gonna run it hard, I recommend people to upgrade the bolt, and make sure the gas key is staked properly. BMs are also over gassed, so i recommend a heavier buffer as well.

  • I have the same gun with a EO TECH 512 ,Go with EO TECH very nice scope.

  • @snapperhead2009 nice scopes very expensive though

  • that is a good gun. my dad had one he just sold this week. I wish he didn't but he needed the money just like in your situation. it's a great gun though. and I do think it is mil-spec. I never had issues with it. he had a crimson trace laser in lieu of a scope for home defense. I would recommend the Burris speed dot for it. I've shot an AR with that scope and it's nice but still a little pricey in my opinion. $200 I think. I have a Daniel Defense M4. Another great m4 as well.

  • Nice gun. If you don't mind me askin', about how much did it set you back? I'm lookin to pick one up myself sometime soon.
