I use to love playing this game, I eventually picked up XG3 for the Gamecube and loved that too...I recently got an N64 again so I definately plan on tracking this game down

I remember doing that track over and over again with Spectre to get the best possible time. I remember I got to the point where I could continuously run the whole track going the speed of sound(I'm assuming that's how fast you're going). God I wish I had this game again. I'd probably be better now.

How did I ever play this when I was little? I can barely keep up with it now. I remember I used to get really bad motion sickness from playing this, which sucked because this was one of my favorite games. I'd push myself to play until I was borderline ready to vomit, actually threw up once too.

@siVerPL Haha what. One, this uses bikes. Two, the weapons system, music, graphics and gameplay are completely different. Three, by your logic, I could go and say that WipEout is a cheap remake of F-Zero.

I play Wipeout too, and this is such a different game. Space-age racers are nothing new.

@Lewis1711 Hello, It is currently being developed in Canada. :3 I have found a powersource which would allow this vehicle to travel near 500mph. On the AutoBahn Highway in Germany. The vehicle sort of looks like the G-Spark with a few modifications to the aerodynamics system. I don't know if it will sound like the these kinds of vehicles. But it'll be quite something, Right now its just on the computer. So it'll be a while before i get a working prototype built and working.

@mazdaplz Well it would be possible, if you had an onboard inertia balancing system, allowing you to travel at the same speed as the vehicle increase and decrease as well as turning. :3 Then you wouldn't die :D

yeah, jets don't have to dodge obstacles because they fly in open air, at least 2000 meters above the earth. nothing to hit but birds.

if it went that fast taxing on a highway it would crash into something faster than you can say evil knievel

not to mention the track would have to be long like an airstrip or the autobahn in every straight, the road would have to be silky smooth because one pebble would disintegrate your ride at that speed, or at least propel you off the road

Dude your way to twitchy You gotta relax while playing Sensara...I've noticed that I can stay in Super Sonic during all three laps...It gets kina boring after that XD ...But its soo much fun..Cause when you can travel to limit which is 999GPH (MPH)

@arshdeep125 The reason he is twitchy is because he is playing on emulator (and is also why the music plays waay too fast) using a keyboard rather than controller. I have one XG2 video also using emulator and keyboard, and I was very lucky I was able to get it to drive well at all... even more lucky I was able to get most of the lap over speed of sound because of that damn keyboard.

One thing's for sure, the Spectre has the highest torque. Can't remember what track it was -probably this one- but I found one of those tube track sections, flipped by Spectre sideways, gunned the engine, and burned all my nitros. I sped around that little circle about fifty times, maybe sixty. It was hilarious.

Even with Spectre its hard as hell to beat Probe's times. I never managed to do it. Don't even get me started on the final track. If only Acclaim hadn't been bought out... i would've loved to see an XG5 with online play.

A good thing to know is that the Spectre actually isn't the fastest bike (and as for this track, it's definitely not the best).

Spectre is best all-around... or at least best weapons and shield.

Wasp has best turning/handling and is best for tracks like Eschaton.

Venom is has highest acceleration and top speed.

Boomsta, although not a super bike, can go faster than Spectre :)

Also, I beat probe's ghost on Eschaton, Burnout with Freaker.

I love this game. I was so addicted to it when I borrowed it from my friend. I don't quite remember the name of my fav bike, it was the blue one with the guy with big hair, I think it's freeker or something like that. Sensara is def my favorite track, and I hate the last one, it's really hard to go fast and be precise in there.

Hmm. You guys should see my Spectre video. I start from standstill, break the sound barrier following the two nitros on the ground, and stay past the sound barrier for almost the rest of the lap, and STILL beat Probe's ghost by .02 seconds lol.

I've gotten faster times since then. If course my fastest is with the Venom, because it has the highest top speed. My best ghosts on emulator and console both run the entire track past the sound barrier.

The thing I hated about this bike was that it was SO fast you would jump high and hit the "force field" and sometimes spin around.

lol you're just like me. Sometimes I don't ever bother racing and just kill everyone and win that way. The best is when the leader is way ahead of you and you know you can't catch up. I just let him over lap me and when he comes behind and goes ahead again I assault him with the homing missles. lol pure jokes.

VENOM is the fastest super bike of all. SPECTRE is just all around powerfull and fast. I've tested VENOM'S speed against SPECTRE'S on many occasions in practice mode and found VENOM to be the fastest. SPECTRE is sick though still. WASP is the best around curves.

I don't get why this thing is given the thumbs down, because it's true. I was only able to hit 999 on Lumina-err.. Lumani..err... THAT LEVEL WITH THE FOUNTAINS AND PYRAMIDS :-) using the Venom, and I first beat Eschaton's staff ghosts ("Probe", who made the game along with Acclaim) with the Wasp.

My best Sensara (this level) time is with Venom, too.

Spectre is like what the manual says about the G-Spark: A good all-arounder... which is actually false... Spectre's the BEST all-arounder.

But yeah if so my best time was with Venom on that stage too. Beat my Spectre ghost nuff times. Even when I used Spectre to the best of my ability.

you have to beat the meltdown extreme contest or if you can't wait, enter 2P97NM6F45S8 in the password menu to unlock all bikes and track variations (including the mirrored tracks) but it won't unlock the running characters but who cares lol... the engine on the spectare sounds too cool to miss
