Brad Davis contracted the AIDS virus in 1979 supposedly. his would make him among the first to be infected. If I remember correctly AIDS didnt become widely known about until 1981-82. Its interesting to note that Brad lived until 1991 which is incredible considering it was before AIDS treatment came into being. He looked healthy right up until 1990 when he did a WW2 film.I was shocked when I heard he died of AIDS. R.I P Brad

The transformation that Brad Davis shows from the beginning untill the end of the film is something that scares us. I hope to be wrong, but isn't Brad Davis dead? Querelle, of Fassbinder, was another great film that he stared.
