THE PENDELTONES was the Group Name that THE BEACH BOYS originally-chose for Their First 45-R.P.M. Single ... the Record Label Owner picked the Latter Group Name at the Last Minute. the Record Label , Itself , was also forced by R.C.A.-Victor to change It's Name from "X" to "Candix Records" ... I wonder if It caused Much Confusion at the Time ??? ... This PENDELTONES Group is excellent , by the way.
