That's mainly because the next night on RAW IS WAR, Mankind and The Rock fought in a Ladder Match for the WWF Championship. They couldn't go as far as they did back in the Royal Rumble because of that.

But yeah, compared to their epic clash at Royal Rumble, I do agree with you. This match a bit weak- but it's still one hell of an epic match, in my opinion.
