@SidekStepM Thanks. There is, regrettably, no complete version. Nopony really knows why, but my guess is that Carol ran out of memory to put the rom in. You see, SMW roms can not exceed 4mb of space. If you pack it full, there isn't much that can be done. To my knowledge, Carol pretty much... disappeared. This hack was probably discontinued, seeing as there has been no update on it from the creator himself in excess of 3 years.

@kyurel it certainly seems like a glitch, knowing i heard it 2 TIMES! not to mention, the battle went on for nearly 3 youtube minutes, which is defintely more than 100 SMW seconds! mario would have died sometime around 7:30 or something. it would have been impossible, even for TAS standards.

@MegaZack30 Don't freak out man. In this game, dying is the equivalent of a goal post really. You strive toward the end to die at that specific spot. Same goal in mind. I'm not sure it's the best smw hack ever; it's quite broken and beta. And it isn't ever going to be finished by the looks of it; carol hasn't done anything with it in over 2 years.

@PhazonOmega This is a tribute to the final boss of Romacing Saga 2. The name of the original boss is The Seven Heroes but in the hack it's called The Seven Koopalings. Carol made a similar tribute to the final boss of VIP 4 but instead of koopas they were cats ○w○. The music in the battle is the same as in Romacing Saga 2 and if you're interested it's called The Final Battle (It's one of my favorite game themes of all times). Hope this information helped.

He has probably quit smw hacking because of being pestered too much; on top of that, it probably got old. Carol has been hacking smw since at least 2001 and probably before that. He hasn't made any productions recently, so I assume that he is no longer around.

@TVBlackandWhite It is a custom boss inspired by romancing SaGa. The programmer saw the boss on that game and ported it to Super Mario World using 65816 ASM. It is not something a normal guy does. You must be very good at ASM. It takes years to get good enough to make a normal boss, never mind this kind of custom boss.

@TVBlackandWhite There is not a version of this in English. It is not really a secret, but it used to be a while ago. This hack's name is "brutal mario" in english, or super kitiku mario. They are the same hack; what you have is demo 7. This is demo 7.5. There was originally a plan to release this hack, but it appears there has been no activity from the creator in over a year and a half. Sorry, the current SKM has to suffice.

@SuperYoshiDude21 You write 21 kilobytes of ASM (tht's the average size of these bosses, a huge amount). once you know how to do that, you'll know how to insert them into the game. Just fyi, there have been no American hackers to ever pull off a feat like this to my knowledge. That does include 2006 hacking veterans.

I'm not sure if Bowser is the final boss either. Defeating him leads to the secret exit, which unlocks the last of three stage in the Luigi world that creates a path to the castle. Think of the overworld stage unlocking layout as the Lost World of Donkey Kong Country 2. So I'm pretty sure that Peach and Luigi are gonna be among the last bosses in the completed hack.

Yes. It was hard making this TAS because of all of the fails. I decided I would try it one more time, and Viola! It worked perfectly. I have no idea why, though. And yes, the quotes were to say that this was not the final boss, and that you could go down to meet bowser, in a falling battle.

BTW, the description is just a placeholder until I think of another.
