touch screen for PC sucks. unlike a mobile phone, the user has to raise his/her arm(s) for extended periods of time to touch the screen... very uncomfortable.

it's fine for tablets, but Desktops / regular Laptops? no way.

in addition, raising the arm to touch the screen will prevent the user from seeing a portion of the screen.

until a better interface is created and mass produced, the mouse is still the best pointer interface.
