  • singing alellulla then pulling out a lighter is not a very good idea while in the premises of a gas giant. yippe.

  • Well, wher did you get this video?

  • Love it, but higher resolution, please!

  • I have never like the term "alien worlds" they're just using the word alien as a synonym for other and it scares people subconsciously into being afraid of the unknown.

  • @subzerotime420 well....not really. They are using the word correctly

  • yeah you're right, in this case

  • Gas giants where supposed to be stars but failed to ignite. :P

  • just curious--what would you do with it?

  • nice video

  • Very nice video that I like ! It is very interesting to search the exoplanets such as our planet . I have added it as my favorite .Thank you for sharing , 5* .

    nutier

  • there was a show some yrs back on discovery channel that showed different alien worlds, i just can't remember what its called.

  • there is one from history channel call the universe alien planets

  • You can tell he just made that up as he goes along.

  • Amazing that with minimal data so much information can be inferred.

  • That was very random, grow up

  • I believe that in 2012 your bad racist energy will be swallowed up by the light and left behind so Humans can advance.

  • I believe in 2010 a house fire will kill someone very close to you!!!

  • Well i cant wait then it will be created a telescope who can show the planets directly.

  • You wont have to wait long. There is a new telescope replacing Hubble soon. Waaaay more powerfull thn Hubble!

  • its the one that supposed to be put in orbit out near jupiter right?

  • IS it? i dunno

  • i saw it on tv months ago only a year left! its supposed to discover earth like planets and its meant to detect them real easy!

  • that wouldnt be the keplar would it? that space telescope is due for launch next year and it will orbit the sun instead of the earth. its job will be to search for earth like planets in distant solar systems!

  • y dont you go and kill ur self u stupid dumb uneducated idiot .. go fucking dumb your brain in a trash can ... oops i forgot you had none

  • nice one!

  • You win.

  • koool! +D =D

  • Niceeeeeeeeee

  • alien's world = mexicans ? roflmao

  • Thoughtware dot TV is also hosting this video. This video rocks.

  • spitzer is shit just wait till hte james webb telescope is launched even though a long wait for it

  • Finding suitible planets is great, but can they also detect the rocky moons suitable for life from these gas giants? And what's the possibility that there could be gassy moons on other solar systems?

  • the planet wont spin anymore, due to tidal interaction. just like the moon doesnt rotate or lets say he rotates at the same speed as goin round the earth. the day side gets constantly heated up and the night side stays in the shadow. its wrong to show rotating planet here...

  • yeah, its like Remus from Star Trek, lol

  • No, if other planets in that system has sufficient influence. That could cause other kinds of tidal interactions, not only 1:1. In our solar system, main Jovian moons are nice example for that.

  • Hubble is dead, live long and prosper, Spitzer! This is just a new beginning...

  • one thing is finding a planet suitable for life, and another thing is acually finding life!

  • how would we know that life only exists in our kind of point of view. i mean what if organisms in the universe can also survive in some kind of element that we havent found yet. there are billions of galaxies in the universe that have something we dont know of, why say that organisms can only survive on earth like planets.

  • Because it's all we know up to this point. If we expect to make further progress we can't just asume things to be true. Instead, scientists study what is concrete and look for similarities. It's better than guessing don'tcha think? As far as we can prove, an alien body would have to function similar to what we know of our own body's physiology. The day you see some alien freak enjoying a breath full of toxic gasses, then maybe you can tell Spitzer they have their priorities mixed up.

  • Oxygen IS a toxic, deadly gas. Countless trilions and trilions organisms was killed in Oxygen Catastrophe - first ecological disaster caused by living things on young Earth. Google will tell you rest of story.

  • any gas can be toxic to some organism. It all depends on what the organism needs to survive.

  • ye as google is a great scientific resource ...rolls eyes

  • I have been upsest with space and other planets almost my hole life. This is amazing! This should be should on the science channel or the science fiction channel("Space").This is aewsome!I want more info!

  • you should get obsessed with a dictionary. ha ha ha

  • Interresting...

  • Another good example of how young science is!

  • Am i just a pot head or is that shit just mind blowing i cannot get enough of this stuff its crazy to think about...

  • Simple math tells us there is life out there. It is impossible for no life elsewhere. Advanced life is another story.

  • This is sooo exciting, I have tingles all over =D

  • I've been waiting for more!! Please...more! you know

you have more access than I or my friend!

  • I dought that there was life on that extreamly hot and cold planet.
