I bought a 20d ages ago it seems and thought it was brilliant!

Has a similiar shutter speed in burst mode if you need that.

I would recommend anyone however to do some research on the various ef lenses available when the standard cheapo(sort of) 18-55 mm doesnt work if you want professional results . I found it was v poor in low light conditions and I am now after a canon ef 50mm 1.4 lens.

the 1.4 aperture means its getting 16 times as much light as the 5.6

That's right, howevere try you will probably not be satisfied with sharpness while shooting this lens (50mm f/1.4) wide open.

Coming from the MkIII it seems slow! But I get mine today and I am really excited. I ordered the 24-105mm f/4 L IS lens, should be a nice combo.
