everybody is prasing this series so i came to see what all the fuss was about. by the way, I wonder if the title of the movie is inspired by the book "Bi Any Other Name"

Actually BOTH the Book and the Film's names are a play on the words and meaning of a very famous line from Shakespeare's play "Romeo and Juliet" .

"A rose by any other name would smell as sweet" which is commonly taken to mean, "What matters is what something is, not what it is called."
