  • Well me? I was just a little one back in the day. I loved the music and the times and can't believe at 46 what shit is out today. This was music. Pure music. Now we have to deal with filthy rap which disrespects women in every way. Thanks to Don Cornelius for playing these awseome musicians on his show and the artists.

  • This was the Miracles hit just before their huge "Love Machine" hit. I've always thought this was just as Love Machine and maybe even better, come to think of it. Such a SMOOTH SOUND!

  • Yes, this is certainly an under-appreciated classic from a great era in music.

  • One of the all time underrated rock songs! Thought the lead singer was a chick - omigod. Loved it when I heard if a college frosh back in mid 70's. DO IT BABY!

  • Can someone tell me what instrument is played at 2:29 and 2:34. It's sorta like a cricket sound or something. It is also played at other parts of the song.

  • @MrChasacart it is called a vibra slap

  • @stinkystubin Thanks for identifying that instrument (vibra slap) for me..I have been wondering for a 'very long time' -what that instrument was called, now I finally know-thanks!

  • @stinkystubin I'm a percussionist!I forgot all about the vibraslap!

  • I heard this song on the jukebox at the Tiger's Den while at Keesler AFB, Ms! It brings back great memories!!

  • Year(1973) I was a student at Mary Munford Elementary School. I was 5 years old. My babysitters, I believe, had the 8-track tape of this song. I would like to dedicate this song my favorite 1970's model(and very favorite apartment house bikini wrestler(if she is still alive))Rosemary Lorenz(aka Rosemary Saneau/Maria). I hope that you are alive and well . You are my favorite. I love you!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Billy Griffin was in Smoky's face with his vocals on this song. He really does sound just like Mr. Robinson. Born in 1965 this song was still kind of new when I first heard it and I have always liked it.

  • The Miracles without Smokey Robinson. This was a SOUL SMASH hit when it came out in 1973.

  • After all these years I suddenly had a yen to hear this song. Thanks for uploading it.

  • If I would've been 23 instead of 3 when this came out,it would've been me with a sexy black chick under a black light shining on a velvet poster with the 12 positions of the afro zodiac signs. Lol.

  • @Phlexxon Seems you find that one kinda funny but I can respect you for it.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 ...now that's funny!!! LMAOOO!!!!!

  • @lafnatcha Word.

  • I am in full agreement my brother. Nothing less than a sexy black chick, customize suit, platform shoes, fro and etc. LOL!

    Peace.

  • @ROBBSHAWE And aperm like both James Brown and Jermaine jackson that I might also add.

  • @oldschoolbx1970 - No perm for me my brother. I like prefer the "afro" with a touch of afro sheen like Jim Kelly and the Jackson 5, lol!

  • @ROBBSHAWE A friend of mine couldn't stand seeing both Michael(RIP) and Jermaine with perms back in '74. Later that year,Michael went back to the fro while Jermaine continued to carry on with it 'til late '78/early '79.
