  • Omg this is hilarious. I was looking for design tips, but glad I stumbled on this.

  • @byteusa Thank you! So glad that you liked it! And who better to look to for design tips than Charlie Chaplin, Laurel & Hardy, and The Three Stooges, among so many other comic greats?

  • I love Murphy beds. You fell like you might get squashed ever time u pull it down from the wall! I cant beleive they arent more popluar now..you never have to make it!

  • Ah, this is marvelous. If you're still looking for moments and don't have this one already, there's a Murphy bed routine in the Wheeler & Woolsey musical/comedy The Cuckoos.

  • @nicoley132

Thank you so much for the tip! I am still looking for moments, and I did not have that one already. Do you know how I can acquire a copy of the film on DVD or VHS?

  • @barthesian Hmm, that's a good question. I don't think it's been commercially released, so I guess you'd have to wait for TCM to schedule it again (if you have TCM US), or else track down someone who's got a copy.

  • Lovely.

Video is expressive. I am not so familiar with those gags, but after your video I feel that I am close to American people.

I am so glad to see it :))

  • Lol, neat. I remember when I was a student, I rented an apt with the kind that rolled up into the wall and I was too poor to buy a futon. In any case, half the time I woke up rolled up half into the wall. Just a little creepy.

  • Great video of Murphy beds. They are a classic gag in American slap stick
