HUDs are awesome, and Corvette really needs it considering the crappy looking speedometer it has, that thing is repulsive to watch. I think Corollas have fancier gauges.

When I got my 2005 convertible, I thought "heads up display" was a fancy way of describing the normal stuff (Speedometer and Tach). Then the first time I started my car at night, I couldn't believe what I was seeing when the green display went up on the windshield. I probably spent an hour playing with the options before I went anywhere.

MPH/KPH is switchable in the settings menu. By the way, navigation is also displayed and when set to 1/64th it can be positioned to match the road you are driving on. The image matches the actual intersection as you look through the windshield. Theoretically, you could drive the car blinded from the outside if the nav of the area is high enough resolution

GM has been doing the hud on corvettes for more than a decade, and some stupid people thinking that this feature was invented by BMW or Mercedes.

agreed, they had it on the pontiac's too.

bmw just put it on the m5 not too long ago and everyone is fucking amazed.

same with NightVision that was on Cadillac's. Volvo just put it on their cars and people are about to shit their pants because they think its so cool.
