• can u make pom poms

  • @sy9000 Pompoms? Like the little things you would use for knitting or crochet? I'm not sure if you can do those with embroidery floss... it might not have enough body.

  • does it matter how thin the string is?

  • @TahveyIngram1814 Sort of... I wouldn't do this with single strands of sewing thread but the string for this is naturally thin. It's six stranded embroidery floss which is made up of six sewing strands twisted together.

  • @BeyondBracelets can u do it with 3 colors?

  • @TahveyIngram1814 If you wanted to you could do a substitution like in the multicolor alphabet bracelets but otherwise no. It can't 'naturally' be three colors and look the same, you'd just have to be clever and add in the strings like in the alphas.

  • @BeyondBracelets do u have one of those videos up?ur videos r the best by far

  • @TahveyIngram1814 Just search "Multicolor Alphabet" and it will pop up.

  • this is a really cool design

  • These are soo cute!!

  • T

    hese are so cute!!

  • Good video! :D

But how do you get it to be slanted?

  • @haytayx3 The knots/strings will naturally slant.

  • when i make bracelets the always curl up ?????

  • @partyrockers94 I'd say you are either making one knot instead of two knots on each string (or) you are pulling a little too tight. I've never had mine curl so I'm not sure... but those are two reasons other people have given.

  • thank this helped alot i love it!

  • hey great vid BUT the string i brought acctually fades so its like really dark at the top then gradually it gets lighter! (i didnt realise this when i brought it) Will this be a problem?!? HELP!

  • @hafsa1471 Shouldn't be an issue. It might even look cool.

  • @BeyondBracelets

yeh thanks BUT i chose the wrong colors...there soo similar u can hardly see the heart, anyway i cant do the hearts properly my knots are soo small it just looks like a blob anyway PRACTICE=PERFECT!!! thanks for the tutorial

  • @hafsa1471 Aw. Well, my trick is putting the strings (full skeins) beside one another and double checking if I like them together. (seems obvious, I know)

    Anyway, good luck.

  • @BeyondBracelets

Yeh they did look good at first but then...yh it just kinda wierd lol!

  • @hafsa1471 Well, I go for vibrant and contrasting colors... but sometimes I have it happen too. You could always take about 6 inches of each color and make a candystripe with them quick to see if you like them together? That might help. Good luck.

  • @BeyondBracelets THANKS!

  • can you make a tutorial on the panda bear bracelet

  • This is ingenious.

  • Awesome

  • You make WAY more sense to me than those patterns do. ;) The way you're doing things here is how I'm used to, which is to say making a set of knots that are... attached, if that makes sense. The way their patterns are, you sort of.... make everything separate (like in pairs, versus connecting across the row). It's really foreign to me.

  • give me your braceletss :D haha

  • What kind of thread do you use?

  • @SandraLuvsFacebook Description always has the materials used.

  • I am doing the pattern right but my hearts don't look like hearts. Do you think maybe it's the thread I am using? I am using craft thread. It kinda looks like hearts but not like the ones you did

  • @kimmiekiwi67 It could be the thread but I'm guessing it may be the way you are pulling. I tried to make the pattern a bit 'altered' by throwing in an alpha pattern type knot so that could be the issue. (Or maybe it is the thread. I don't use craft thread.)

  • aww so cutee. I lovee making friendshipp braceletss. could i make them out of yarn also ?

  • @Makeupandhairbymee Yeah, it will just be bigger and fuzzier. One thing- just try to stay to 'softer' strings. The more firm/hard the string the more the knots will look lumpy.

  • how do u do forward knots

  • @cutelily2 Go to my channel and click the yellow icon on my banner "Start Here" and you will see the beginner videos.

  • soooo cute! im def going to try!:)

  • 7lo 7lo w cute kman i <3 it

  • Oh, I really like this one: would the strings be about the same length as you use for a candy stripe?

  • @MeganIsCharmed Yeah, for the most part it would be the same.

  • BIG GIGANTIC HELP!!!!!

  • i dont have a descrpition

  • @MsEmma1901 I'm not sure why... unless you aren't on a computer. Anyway... embroidery floss- six stranded.

  • u go too fast

  • @44gavin44 Try using the video description. The steps/pattern is written there for the slower learners.

  • what string did you use??

  • @MsEmma1901 Description.

  • you are awesome!(:

  • THANK YOU SO MUCH . This one is by far my favorite especially in black and white <3

  • @gilliantaylorr7854 it looks really good in pink/green, also red/yellow! too!

  • Oh my goodness ! It's really cute, especially the black and white one....:) love it to die, gonna try some. But I don't know how to finish it, I mean what we re gonna do when we want to finish it?

  • @chhivguach Separate the strings in half, then separate those halves into three section (even if it isn't equal) then just braid them and thread through the loop.

  • you are the best :D :D :D :D i lovee you. :D im making this and imma give it to my bf. :D awesome. thankieee :D

  • you're amazing, out of all the tutorials yours are by far the best. you explain them so carefully and you make them all look so easy :) and as your so amazing i suscribed, you have helped me make so many nice bracelets!!<3<3<3<3

  • thanks so much! i made one and it turned out great! your tutorials are much easier to follow than the written ones

  • I agree, make a cute star bracelet:)

  • Can you make one like this, but with stars?!?! please!!!

  • very easy and the heart is so cute, thanks

  • can you make a happy face bracelet plzzz

  • Hi!!!!! I wanted to say ..thank you for the Tuts, and i am glad with the instruction that you wrote.. just finished the pink ribbon!!! My daughter love that one... she is already wearing 3 of you bracelets that i'v made... tytytyty!!!

  • @martfran Aw, that's awesome. I'm glad you're able to follow along and make some cool stuff for your daughter. Congrats.

  • When you say the string should be 60 inches is that before or after you've folded it in half?

  • @SoLetsJustDance You make them 60, then fold. They will become 30.

  • how much would you sell for it like probally 5$ of less

  • @yayme2003 This one I'd probably do $5 about since it is so simple... that said I generally won't do custom bracelets since carpal tunnel makes it difficult to make bracelets anymore. It's rare I make these since my hands are painful/numb from the problems carpal tunnel causes.

  • When we do this how long does the strings have to be? By the way, this is so pretty(:

  • @cininnmonpie Video Description

  • Thx again this is alot less complicated when u dont use L1L2 sttuff

  • @kinseyrox99 Like I said in my other video go watch this: /watch?v=apTAygZ910A

  • I LOVE your videos. They help me soo much, legit. But I have a question, is there anyway you can make the hearts and bracelet bigger? Would I just use more string? I'm sure this is probably a really stupid question but I really wanna know :P Thanks! <3

  • @BlaisnHot You could "bulk it up" by using thicker string... but to make it thicker with embroidery floss you'd need a pattern with more steps. Check friendship-bracelets(dot)net for "Hearts" and see what comes up. Maybe you'll find a pattern you like.

  • What kind of string do you use? Thanks!

  • @xxkeichii Six Stranded Embroidery Floss.

  • @BeyondBracelets Thanks:)

  • Your videos are fantastic and I love how many ideas you can incorporate into these bracelets !!

Plus, you taught me how to make friendship bracelets, so props to you ! :D

  • @Otango17 Yeah... I always have liked to experiment with these bracelets and the possibilities when it comes to them is pretty endless considering you can make regular patterns (which there are thousands of) and also alpha patterns.

I'm glad I was able to help you learn. Have fun. =3

  • how to you set up the camera iv always wonder plz anser?

  • @skyleyrox123 lots of people wonder, I have a video on it "Your Common Questions Answered"

  • but if I want to make ... like a letter, how do I do it??? pls answer ..

  • @MiSsHoPeLeSs08 By going to my banner on my YT Channel and clicking "Letter & Picture Bracelets"

  • hey , what kind of material is your thread ? i use the embroidery one but sometimes it rips . yours looks a little more durable .

  • @Arieanna09 Nah, you just have to be gentle. Mine is six stranded embroidery floss... but it is DMC brand. I find it's one of the best. I have a video called "BeyondBracelets - Your Common Questions Answered" where I cover two other alternatives and explain the difference... but all of them are embroidery.

  • @BeyondBracelets where do you buy your thread ?

  • @Arieanna09 Michael's or A.C. Moore.

  • that really help. .. thz 4 ur reply :D

may i ask where do u order these strings online?

  • @slnge1 Amazon has good prices. You can also sometimes find them on ebay.

  • wait im confused.. do i hv 2 fold the strings in half??

  • @slnge1 Look at my video on how to cut and fold the strings- yes. You cut the 65" length for 2 of each color and then fold them in half. Check the video description.

  • Thxs so much for the video it really helped :)

  • Ok, I have a question. When I looked up this pattern on friendship-bracelets it was in a 1-2-1-2 pattern, with L1 knotted to L2, L3 knotted to L4, then L1 onto L4 (to make little vs. But when you did it you did L1 onto L2, L3, L4 (horizontally across). It makes it easier. How do you adapt it, and can every pattern be adapted?

  • @chiejohinna I stole an alpha method for the bottom of the heart. The problem with friendship-bracelets(dot)net is the patterns are forced to be straight lines of knots... I talked to the owner of the site and asked if there would be a way to make a slanted version (or a V version) to cater to angled patterns like chevrons and what not... so hopefully soon enough he will be able to code a generator for those types of patterns in specific. For now I just use paint and crop/paste at an angle.

  • @BeyondBracelets, I tried tilting it sideways, but it made my eyes cross lol. Do you know any sites that show the patterns horizontally then?

  • @chiejohinna You don't tilt it sideways, you need to crop the top to the bottom at an angle. This is a photoshop job.

  • @BeyondBracelets, Ah, I think I see it now..... I edited one for myself to test it out, but I'm not sure it'll work on the more complex patterns. I'll see how it goes, hope you don't mind me asking you again if I need more help. :)

  • @chiejohinna Just send it into my private inbox, it lets me elaborate more.

  • Omg your like the shit at all braclets!! your amazingg!!

  • Thank's a lot for this wonderfull pattern!

  • WOW! :o I wish i can make that O.o

  • @cherrybloom22 You could if you practice. It's not that bad, I tried to alter the pattern to be fewer steps than the original... but if you wanted you could follow the friendship-bracelets(dot)net one and treat it as a 1212 pattern.

  • @BeyondBracelets wow! lol so if i want to maybe change the instructions i might need also of practice :O :D

  • @cherrybloom22 Yeah, it takes some studying to really be able to 'edit' patterns successfully.

  • @BeyondBracelets yer

so can u edit patterens :D i think you can ;) cuz you've started making frienshipbracelets since you were 6 years old ;) and ur smart ;)

  • @cherrybloom22 Flip the 6 upside down... because it actually started at 9 but yeah. It takes time to establish your skills- but that goes with anything- the more practice you put into it the better you get.

  • @BeyondBracelets oh opps :P lol i didn't realise i've accidently typed 6 :P srry :P

yer i'll really will be alot if practice :D

  • ok thanks

  • how long do the strings have to be

  • @wgfmkmd Description.

  • @wgfmkmd Its says it in the description bar.

  • This is a beautifull bracelet :) Thanks for the help :) :*

  • My heart looks like a butterfly awesome! It kinda looks like a heart

  • @0mgily1231 Haha, well as long as you like it I suppose a butterfly is cool, too.

  • My hearts look more like boxes! Help!?

  • @mmitnick Sounds like you might have had a knot flip on you right before the upper right part of the heart. Check my video on knot flips (just YT search 'knot flips') and see if that helps.

  • thank you this is amazing!

  • @archieforlife You're welcome. Glad you liked it!

  • I love all your tutorials!! They are so helpful.. this was pretty simple!! Thanks!!

  • paldies

  • i know how to do the candy strip one but i like the little heart in the middle

  • @Glitterangelz82 Yeah, it adds more interest to the standard candystripe.

  • well this a neat bracelet it looks hard

  • @Glitterangelz82 It isn't that bad... you just need some practice. Try out some of the easier beginner patterns. I have a beginner playlist on my channel.

  • sorry ive been asking so many questions. could you add another stripe to this? I wanted the colors to be red black and white thx sooo much for your help

  • @vampgirlization The only way you could do that is by substituting strings like in the multicolor alphabet tutorial... and even then, I doubt it would work out right.

  • mine turned out good thanks so much!!!!! <3

  • @thatgingerboom Practice and patience. You'll get it eventually. =P

  • this does not need to be 60 inch strings for each i just did mine and it barely needed 50 so .... its your choice if you want to believe me anyways this vid is awesome thanks i had no troubles at all :D

  • @pandapanpan7 It really depends on wrist size.

  • @BeyondBracelets then i must have really small wrists but your video really helped thanks though i didnt like the colors i chose though :(

  • One more question, what other colors would go good with this pattern besides black and white & orange and blue?

  • @azungurl101 idk but not silver and gold because i tried and it was a blobby heart fail

  • @azungurl101

ummm i think red and black, purple and pink, or yellow and orange would be pretty...to me

  • how long does the string need to be?

  • @azungurl101 Video Description

  • You should make a video for this but with the 8 string one! plzzz i like big bracelets:) thanks!

  • Awsum thnx 4 tha vid!!! :3 luv this bracelet

  • @AleBasketball10 Well, it depends on HOW different the string is. If it's very thick and the other is thinner then that could be why... but If they are the same thickness I don't think there would be a problem.

  • @AleBasketball10 You are very welcome. I'm glad you figured it out so easily?

  • Hey I would like to make a bracelet that says Nick can you help ?

  • @AElizabeth97 You need to make an alphabet bracelet for decent lettering. I have the alpha tutorials on my channel under "My Online Shop & Tutorials" Section... so you can learn how there.

I can't do specific names since they take too long and I don't have much room to work with my camera set up.

  • Okay, how do you knot all four strings together and have the two colors seperated? Like al blue strings on one side and all orange strings on the other?

  • @AmandaStaysPositive You just fold the strands, overhand knot to form a loop and they will be messy. You organize them after you tie them.

  • Thanks for this great video!

  • How do you knot it with the both colors separated on each side?

  • @AmandaStaysPositive I'm not sure what you're asking me... can you be more specific? Sorry.

  • This is one of my favorite tutorials of yours, this pattern is cute, and as everyone else said its really easy! I learned this one just today, thanks so much:)

  • @lexymkhotmailcom Yeah, it's pretty cute for such a simple pattern. I edited the steps a bit from the original method but it still turns out the same. =3

  • i did this and it turned out terrible

  • @Patiepop101 Have you made many of the beginner patterns? This is an intermediate level.

  • @BeyondBraclets I made it ! With pink & purple & it turned out GREAT! It was so much easier than I thought!!! Thank you for the tutorial(:

  • @xTabbie13x You're welcome!

  • im getting string tomorrow & I AM DEFF MAKING THIS.

  • @xTabbie13x Aw, good luck! I'd love to know how it turns out!

  • lol, i didn't expect this to be this easy.

    but... yeah, it's brilliant!

  • Comment removed

  • @Bricheerchick16 My camera setup and all is covered, check my main channel and look at the links I listed.

  • how long are they all meant to be??

I love the black and white one :D

  • @Alishababes401 Just read the descriptions, I always type out everything there.

  • just to be clear... is each individual string 60" or is 1 out of the 4 of that color 30" since you took 2 60" ones and folded it in half. (so 4 30" strings or 4 60" strings?) haha sorry just want to make sure i don't run out! :)

  • @listentokristen Set up: 1 1 1 1 2 2 2 2

You need to cut two strands of each color... both pairs of strings should be 60" (inches) and then folded. The folding means the four 60" strands become eight 30" strands.

  • @BeyondBracelets Thanks so much! :) this is a great tutorial!

  • @BeyondBracelets How big would the bracelet be if the string is 30" when you start making the bracelet? Trying to not make it too big or too small, making the one above ^

    Thanks.

  • @GGvietboiGG watch?v=uk_u0ooG754

  • how would you set up your strings if you wanted the heart to be a different color?

  • @AngexAmazing Not sure if it's possible to have a different color heart naturally, but you could use the multicolor alpha pattern tutorial to improvise it to any color. You could do multiple colors, even.

  • luv the black nd white combo!!!

    ♥

  • you are so good at explaining things! thanks!

  • @lindseyd9 You're welcome!

  • This is soo easy ! Thank u !

  • this is amazing

a good gift for a gf

  • Tank u um sound mire excited
