  • what a good scene T_T

  • THE BEST SHIT OF MY LIFE. THIS IS AMAZING.

  • epic

  • I really don't mind that the video's a bit choppy, but I gotta say THANK YOU FOR INCLUDING THE SONG! Every other vid I've seen of this scene cut out the song and it just felt incomplete to me. Thank you! XD

  • @Jinksyfire You're very welcome! I love the song, and I just thought the video would flow better if I left it in, since it kind of starts during the scene anyway. :)

  • I don't get it . . .

How come Al's body is awake, aware, and can talk if his soul and consciousness are in Amestris?

Does his consciousness exist in two places at the same time?

  • @Lonsoleil Well, just like Ed lost his arm and his "Truth" was wearing it, Al's Truth was wearing his body.

  • They actually did a good job with the dubbing in this series.

  • For me, this is the best scene in the whole show.

  • 1:34 epic finger point

  • This is perhaps one of the best anime moments in history.

  • 1:20+ makes me want to cry.

    The music fits so well.

  • Damn...this scene gets me every time. I love how they use the ending song as Ed forces his way to Al one last time.

  • If my sister was stuck in the portal and I couldnt get to her I would throw the leather boot at her and tell her to eat it

  • @cristaltophat LOLOLOL

  • This part is one of the most emotional moments in the whole series, gave me chills. So too the last episode (Or one before the last, not sure) where Alphonse goes through the gate and is reunited with his body, but screams in frustration, knowing he still has to fight and cannot get it back yet.

  • laggy

    But good episode

  • @TheFrozenWitch Sorry about the lag, this was the best I could get it.

  • @SunlightFire Do you know the episode when Winry Cries in front of ed on the couch?

  • One of my favourite moments in this entire series, without a doubt.

  • I was like "HOOOO SHIIIIIIIIITT" when i first saw this. I thought it was Ed back then until Ed shouted "AL!!"

  • Alphonse will always be my one and only true love:) this is my favorite scene in the whole series, in both FMA and FMA Brotherhood. thanks for posting. Only Edward could punch through the gate of truthX) Like a bossXD

    <3 Alphonse...

  • @Nowaki26 lol like a boss

  • What episode is this?

  • @1232Akira I put it in the description. Its episode 26 of Brotherhood.

  • Is this video extremely choppy for anyone else?

  • @Shiizuko You're the first one to comment on it! Sorry, the program I used to record this wasn't very good. It took several rerecordings to get it to look like this, it was the best i could get. Sorry again...

  • This is my favourite scene in brotherhood :') <3

  • Cuando promete que volveré por Al, era verdad T.T que triste este cap me hizo llorar :(

    Like!

  • @Melkac

Well then, if you watch the Latin American version then it doesn't really matter what you think of the English version, now does it? :)

  • ...I don't like Ed's voice. Latin america's version sounds better :D

  • @lightknight16 Actually, although I believe Brotherhood is better overall compared to the first one, including that it runs along the manga storyline much better, I'd say that FMA was still an amazing series. Most FMA fans love both series, because most of us saw the original first and loved it. I saw Brotherhood first, the the original. Both shows are amazing despite there differences and both are worth watching, but Brotherhood should probably be watched first.

  • @Abasidaudi93 Fullmetal Alchemist was the original anime, Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood was the remake. Brotherhood follows the manga storyline better than the first. I suggest that you read the manga, watch brotherhood, and then watch the original. :)

  • @SunlightFire excuse me my dear friend, i think you might have used the wrong words... if you want to see something that it is going to be a complete story, not leave any holes in the plot and accurate to the writers story then watch brotherhood, if youre feeling to watch the first one youll be watching a story completely made up by the people who made the anime they didnt cared for a story, they just wante to make fast money you know

  • Anime*. It's worth liking the charss before watching brotherhood, regular FMA kind of did that for me so i'm sure I liked it more because the last movie from FMA left me wanting more.

  • Aba, it's not really 2 continuations. They're both different with the same chars. 1st anine got ahead, so the rest was made up. Watch regular FMA, then FMA brotherhood, which is this one from clip.

  • ALPHONSE :'(

  • but ful screen at 00:24 scary:0

  • but ful screen at 00:24 scary:0

  • um, I've never watched FMA, but I really feel like it now, where should I start b/c there's like, two different continuations right?

  • I remember reading a lot of negative reviews of FMA. I'm really glad I ignored them and gave this animé a go as it's easily one of my absolute favourites. Scenes being the reason for it. It's brilliant how it can have such cheesey humour in an episode then jump to a scene like this in the next. Thanks for the upload, I might go and watch Brotherhood again now :P

  • Awesome anime deffn in top 5. now for the epic journey of one piece!!!!

  • I don't understand how Al's body can be sorry if it doesn't have a soul, or how it can even talk. Bit of a plothole there.

  • I love how Ed defies well everything by punching through the portal of truth

  • @Luke47895 IKR? It's awesome! :)

  • @Luke47895 i dont know how many times i cried thru this epic anime!! ed kept his promise in the end just like a badass would!!

  • @jonmansmokeskush Yeah I also liked when The Truth asked Ed if he was sure about giving up his alchemy he said "Who even needs alchemy when I've got them?".

  • @Luke47895 favorite scene in all anime

  • @rekapeka1999 Excuse me, but how is this scene funny?

  • this is soo funny i love it!!!

  • ima watch this all over again.

  • This scene makes me want to cry....it's so sad. <3

  • I FRICKEN LOVE THIS SCENE!!!!!! i watch it everyday along with when Ling has his king speech with Bradely

  • This was one of my favorite scenes from Brotherhood! So epic when Ed busted the door back open! :D

  • Whenever I watch this video together with the Ending song by Miho Fukuhara, it reminds me of my father and step mother that died a few years ago.

  • :'(

  • This is really the only dub I like XD

  • I'm glad everyone likes this video. :) FMAB will always be on my favorite anime list. So I felt that I had to commemorate one of it's most heartfelt scenes. :) I feel refreshed and hopeful every time I see this, no matter how many times I do.

  • I bounce around in my seat every time I see this scene.

  • I freaked out so badly when I saw this on TV... then the next week no new episode... I cried...

  • EPIC

  • So sad yet so epic yet so sad

  • i cried....

  • FUCK my favorite escene of this wonderful anime... on my top 3 :') fucking awesome xD

  • @NuggetSandwich

I know....it's just people always hate on the dubs. I only watch the dubs so that there's nothing I can compare them to. :)

It's not actually very good quality, it lags a bit and the picture is a little slow, but it's not very noticeable, I guess. I just downloaded a free online screen recorder off the Internet, I can't remember what software it was, though. :(

  • @reneehernandez32

If I'm not mistaken, I believe it's episode 26 "Reunion" of FMA Brotherhood. Sorry for the late reply. :)

  • @nachideku

Actually, I'm a girl, but thanks anyway! :)

  • thank you +9001 - 9000 likes from me for non-mirror and with ending all together

You sir are a great man.

  • Automail Index Finger of Epicness at 1:35

    AIFE FTW!

  • The people who made FMA were did they get the idea its so awesome !

Even more the english voice actors are epic :'( its to perfect

  • what episode is this?

  • This scene was amazing... It was so touching

  • Man, Al looks like he's let himself go...

  • @DarkWolf3399 Well , Think of it this way , Al has been in a metal armor for a good portion of his life , it's pretty understandable why his physical body would be like that ..... .>.< XD

  • @khrocksforever No! Look at him. Als gotten FAT!!! lol XD

  • @DarkWolf3399 He's so fat he makes me look anorexic D:

  • @khrocksforever lol! he makes ME look so skinny that I'm bloated!

  • @DarkWolf3399 -le gasp-

  • the people who made FMA are honest to god geniuses if i could give them something awesome i would

  • Vic is amazeing how can he do ikkaku from bleach broly from dragon ball z and ed from fullmetal alchemist I mean fuck his voice is pretty much godly

  • I have not watched Brotherhood past the first few episodes and a few scattered ones when I managed to catch it on Adult Swim, I just could not get into it for some reason like I did with the first series. But this scene is very moving and beautiful. Plus Vic makes it even more amazing than before.

  • This episode made me cry :P

  • You don't have to fucking apoligize for liking dubs better :l also how did you get this video in such great quality?

  • Exactly!!

  • This scene is powerful in so many ways XD

  • @LoveHusky78 Yes, it is. :)

  • @LoveHusky78 true story!! i cried super hard and again and again. i dont kno very many more animes more powerful than this one. especially the last 5 or 6 eps were intense. cant wait for her next anime!!
