This is kind of ridiculous... they dont even touch eachother when they are throwing jabs or kicks? i mean i know karate kyokushin thats some real martial arts contact sport. But this seems little bit foolish to me.. I rather have Taekwondo more action, real hits and Ko's :D

karate isn`t a joke,but sports karate on the other hand... You can`t judge karate as whole based on the sports part of it. What you get out of your karate depends on how you train it: if you train it as a selfdefence thing or as a sport. In my club we train karate in selfdefence situations and it works really well.

sport karate is not exactly what you would use to defend your self, there is a difference between what you learn to defend your self and what you do for sport karate, sport karate is a good way to improve your ability to time people, judge distance and things like that but I personally wouldn't try beating someones azz doing almost anything that I do in competitions

I think the way old JKA shotokan was pretty good and now kyokushin if you train hard. That type of training is probably gone give you and advantage in a fight.

It isn't true. It's not the style that can win a fight, it's the practitioner of the style. However, it is true that Muay Thai is effective (read: more aggressive) in a fight. But don't go like this style or that style is the best.

WKF Open de Paris: this, along with all the opens, is an international wkf competition which all styles join (sanbon point system). These gloves must be worn for WKF competion. The colour depends on wether you are aka or ao, same for belt and feet protection. Shin can be wite.

hey retards this is not shotokan or shoto ryu or any kind of style. who ever knows karate can fight u just have to have a white uniform red & blue gloves and samething on belt and that s what we call it WKF style, and Kata there s 2 styles are approved by the WKF Shotokan and Shoto ryu and the goju ryu guys they go by them selves i m not sure about the last thing cause i m not a kata guy

looks like shotokan for the most part but i did see the typical taekwondo multiple kick roundhouse in there. in shotokan tournaments we usually wear cotton gloves and no foot pads. those colorful gloves and footwear make it look awful.

Kumite is similar in all karate styles, but I think it´s not shotokan because usually shotokan kumite is without gloves
