She's not bad, but why did she not get disqualified from X Factor? It's a show for AMATEUR singers and I seem to remember a band being told they couldn't go on to the live shows because they'd had previous management, and that was deemed as cheating.

katie IS a brilliant singer. whether you enjoy her voice or not, she IS original, individual and interesting. she is such a strong young woman and, personally, i think all these people who are being cruel about her....even the press, are either jelous or interested in making money out of her suffering. when you become as amazing as this girl, then u say what u like, till then, respect her talent as a singer and a person :) what an insperation she is x

I think Katie has a beautiful voice, and she does not deserve the stick she receives in the media. Musicians will hear and appreciate her voice and talent... people who fall for the hype that the media creates, will not. Such a shame, because the latter is the majority of the nation.

@XFactorRejects I liked her at her first audition, I found her endearing - but the whole 'kooky Katie' thing got old real quick. Just like Dani and Louis said recently it seems she gives her best when she ends up in the sing off and ditches all the crap and distracting rubbish.

It doesn't do anything for her - as this video only goes to prove, because it's great. As far as I'm concerned she's her own worst enemy right now, it's bizarre. I don't like it, such a waste.

She has more talent than all competitors combined, including Rebecca and btw, she doesn't need the UK where people always spit on their talents and the press is helping them a hand. @steprl Talent doesn't always win out, the press have a large hand in it. Whilst I don't approve of the way the gutter press are treating her I am thankful that I live in a country where there is free speech & a free press. Every time I'm in the US I'm always astonished by the way I feel like I'm in a police state & by the way the public are manipulated by the media there, pure propaganda. The UK isn't alone in having gutter publications, the US has many, unfortunately it appeals to the masses.

@XFactorRejects Oh, I just noticed that comments need approval or in other words...sigh. You should never do that, you should only stick to removing comments if necessary, now you leave a bad taste in everybody's mouth, you basically manipulate the comments the way it suits you. I don't like the way people like you in the UK treat your stars and how many of you seem to lack any social skills. A good example is Katie and how she is treated by everyone in the UK...pretty sad.

@steprl I'm protecting Katie because there is an enormous amount of vitriol against her at the moment & I don't approve of it, nor do I want to add to it. Allowing comments to be posted unapproved means that a nasty comment could be up for a while before I get round to removing it & I don't want one up for 1 second!
