Remember when I asked you about the fat tires? This is exactly the subject I meant!. My experience has been in deep snow the skinnier the front the less wash out I experience. and no this is not an I told you so comment. I was truly interested in what your experiencing in this vid! I am amazed how well my KLR front handles the deep snow. its a 90/90x21. Very narrow and seems to cut to the ground. Great ride my friend!!
@navythomas8 - in 11 inches of snow, no tire reaches solid ground. Fat or skinny. A ski between the front forks would handle better. I hear people saying the same thing about trails, "Oh, you want skinny tires, those fat tires don't do as well as my skinny tires." ... and all that, but it's been my experience that everything, and I do mean everything is just a matter of opinion. And one man's golden rule is another man's fortune cookie. I'd be happy to try a DRZ400 (prob my next one).
Looks great thats for sure , not this year for me i guess.... haven't seen snow yet. The past years we where getting at least 10inches a month....You just keep her in one piece man :-)
Bet the beer stayed nice and cold! Good ride, Chad!!
