i highly recommend you set the blending mode to screen, add some lighting effects, and make the flash more like not there one frame, then there the next, and not the next frame. Thought i might just give a few tips instead of hating lol.

next time have 3 muzzle flashes with 3 shot noises , not 5 flashes and 3 shots , and as Kwankanoid2 said , you need light , smoke , and environmental interaction, and have diferent size muzzle's not one size , in other words , watch more action movie's , it'll help !!

LOL I love how most of these muzzle flash videos will have a fancy looking production logo, J&J PRODUCTIONS, but the effect itself is crap. And This is one instance in which I don't feel bad putting down the video because there was no work put into it at all. As others have said, no light interaction, no smoke effects, no color correction, you simply pasted the image and added a sound. I think you spent more time on the logo than you did on the effect. For shame.

Okay, constructive critisms:

You need to add enviromental effects, like the area around the gun lighting up, also, add some smoke and don't make all the muzzle flashes the same. If you're feeling like doing something more advanced, try making empty shells fly out of the gun.

not bad, try adding smoke and enviormental reaction such as glow on your face and hanf....... attention to detail makes it that much better..... you can also add shell casings if your really feeling up to it.
