Plus on this video and on the internet its in too low resolotion i was 10 meters away from the front row in that gig and ive seen that clip on a Plasma TV and on BBC HD the other night and both times i could see his face through the visor. MJ WAS ON THE JET PACK!

It looked great but have some sense and use your eyes. Be fair he was a GREAT entertainer and showman. Very few are iconic like him to cause religous fervour and elations in their fans during a concert. (Beatles, Elvis) People passing out and screaming etc...
It's a Double. You don't have to be a magician to see the switch. Look at the crate(half crate) as it lifts away and of course the fact he snugs tight to the corner and ducks under a black spandex cover. Didn't need to do this if he was just fetching the pack.
Oh and only a few people know how to safely operate thiese packs at full speed. You think Michael would actually risk it all for a great finish.. Noooooo way.
It was only after the concert that he went to the hospital for treatment of burns, cuts and bruises. That's Michael; he always want to have innovative ideas injected in his shows.

Michael really flew at the end. There was no switch. Michael always loved adventurous/innovative ideas to the point of risking his life. Just watched his doc. on the Dangerous Tour. He suggested the idea that he wants to fly. At first the show production team were in doubt but due to Michael's persistence, they researched and asked experts. At the end they celebrated for the success. They said, what Michael wants for perfection, he does.
For real? Cause there is a photo taken directly face on and you can clearly see the nasal part of the face and it is not MJ. I swear to god he didnt do that! If he did, well the hell, pigs fly! I watched this concert last night on the BBC: absolutely fantastic, brilliant entertainer.
But once he put on the white suit: and the helmet, I couldn't help but think of Top Gear's 'The Stig'. :)

MJ did fly that jet pack. If you pause it on 0:42 you can see theres no 1 in that box plus you can see his face through the visor you retards!! And When did he do the jet pack at wembly

It's all around the internet that states it was a stunt double, not many people can fly a jet pack plus Michael wouldn't have put his life in danger to do that, plus if it WASN'T a stunt double, why else would they have that box, surely they would have taken the jetpack out of the box if there wasn't a stunt double in there :)

That isn't Michael flying the Jetpack. It's actually a stuntman. I was working as stage security at his 1992 Wembley gigs and saw the switch as Michael left the stage.

I thought that must be a stunt double but i remember back when he did it and there was so much media attention on it and it was proved that he did do it and and took lessons for years as a hobby, but then it came in handy. Plus on this video and on the internet its in too low resolotion i was 10 meters away from the front row in that gig and ive seen that clip on a Plasma TV and on BBC HD the other night and both times i could see his face through the visor. MJ WAS ON THE JET PACK!

@MissieElliot09 I used to be stood just feet away from him when he did his costume changes in between songs. He was very humble and would speak to us as well after the shows despite being so busy. Thats the kind of person i'll always remember Michael as!

it was a stunt double. the exit was conceptualized by MJ and orchestrated by David Copperfield - read MJ's bio by Taraborrelli - it's there.
Kinnie Gibson was hired by MJ for the stunt.
MJ may not have flown the jet pack but still it was AMAZING.

It looked great but have some sense and use your eyes. Be fair he was a GREAT entertainer and showman. Very few are iconic like him to cause religous fervour and elations in their fans during a concert. (Beatles, Elvis) People passing out and screaming etc...

It's a Double. You don't have to be a magician to see the switch. Look at the crate(half crate) as it lifts away and of course the fact he snugs tight to the corner and ducks under a black spandex cover. Didn't need to do this if he was just fetching the pack.
Oh and only a few people know how to safely operate thiese packs at full speed. You think Michael would actually risk it all for a great finish.. Noooooo way.

It was only after the concert that he went to the hospital for treatment of burns, cuts and bruises. That's Michael; he always want to have innovative ideas injected in his shows.

I believed it was MJ when I seen the concert than I found out it wasnt actually him who flew lol! Sneaky! Look underneath, you can clearly tell where MJ has moved to stand to switch (theres a ledge & really, why would be pop down just to push something out?) Theres a photo of the 'person' dressed up and you can tell its not MJ because the only thing visible through the helmet is the nose and it is not MJs nose. Still, its an ingenious idea and will only ever be linked to Michael Jackson

Michael really flew at the end. There was no switch. Michael always loved adventurous/innovative ideas to the point of risking his life. Just watched his doc. on the Dangerous Tour. He suggested the idea that he wants to fly. At first the show production team were in doubt but due to Michael's persistence, they researched and asked experts. At the end they celebrated for the success. They said, what Michael wants for perfection, he does.

For real? Cause there is a photo taken directly face on and you can clearly see the nasal part of the face and it is not MJ. I swear to god he didnt do that! If he did, well the hell, pigs fly! Cause to me that face in the helmet wasnt MJ. Biographies state it wasnt MJ. Id beg to differ that he done it. But must agree, when he wanted perfection, he done it himself to get it. But I truly dont think he done the flying. Itll always be something to ponder about

Biographies are hearsays. Michael said just to read his autobiography MoonWalk. This is not the only risky thing he did. He did parasailing, flying in hot air balloons (see homemovideos). In 1999, he did a charity concert in Munchen, where he sang on a bridge high up the air, and the bridge broke untimely and he feel real hard on the ground. No one panicked because he just continued with his performance professionally.
