The game was close because they took Cal Poly lightly because Poly is an inferior opponent. No disrespect but It's human nature to relax a little as a fan and player when you see an opponent from the bowl SD on your schedule when you are used to playing Ohio State, Michigan, & Penn State. Cal Poly looked at the Badgers and an 80,000 seat stadium and saw this as the game of the century for them. Put Cal Poly in Ohio State uniforms and Wisconsin wins hands down. Sorry, just the truth.
if they are so good then they couldve kept the game from going to overtime. and if they are so good why did they look so happy that they ended up winning in overtime. they should be dissapointed
You're right they should be dissapointed, I was very disappointed in how they played. Call me a BCS conference snob but I didn't even watch the game until I caught it in the 4th quarter. I was absolutely amazed the game was so close. It happens though, wasn't it USC who lost to a 1 win Stanford team a couple years ago?
Are you talking about the fairweather fans? yes, people jump off the bandwagon too quickly. And a thanks goes out to Cal Poly's field goal kicker who missed the extra point. Sorry, that may be a little harsh. I give Cal Poly a ton of credit.
OMG! i am in this video... i was at the wisconsin cal poly game on nov. 22 so i decided to play this and video and i am the person in the orange hat in the beginning... and the guy in the black to my left is my husband, and the person to my left is my lil brother (in the tan coat) and the guy next to him is my dad.
