  • It's easier to buy a gun in Austria, Switzerland, Finland, Israel, India, even Canada. Disgusting

  • Makes me glad to be a Texan! and thankful for all my firearms!

  • or goto a gun show where there are plenty of folks willing to sell you a gun on the spot with no paperwork.

  • @quicklady Not true they have changed that I tried it out here in Trrexas after buying a gun there under the NICS program' And I even went to the back all around and they do NICS background checks so stop spreading your ignorance All you brady go'er's A gun has to be fired by a persons finger people kill people!

  • @404040c you only need it from dealers. indiviuals can sell to ea other without paperwork. some sell as "personal collection" some dont. the key is to determine who is selling as if it were from their personal collection.

  • Un-frigging believable. If they devoted half the resources to catching the armed badguys, that would actually have an affect on crime. All the cops standing around making sure that honest people cant get guns. All these laws that only affect law abiding people who will follow them? Sorry, but if I lived in this crime infested shithole, and my family was in danger, I will do what everyone already does and get one without all the paperwork. These people should move to a free country. Texas?

  • Americans must wake up and get rid of all these officials that do no respect the Constitution of United States. This paper work ordeal is a Nazi style gun control..Just like Hitler did in his event at Madison Square Garden in New York City just before WWII.You can look at footage of Hilter in New York City Madison Square Garden on Youtube.New York officials even had a big parade for him. The New City Police even beat up Jewish people on the orders of the Nazi officials in New York City.

  • When he said "7 Am" I thought of rebecca black

  • @Kennefo I thought of coffee. Who is she?

  • @rb2112002 The most annoying song on youtube "friday"

  • @Kennefo I must have been the only person who hadn't heard that. Yea, that was beyond terrible. I could only watch about the first minute. That was truly bad. Some one should be sent to the fifth circle of hell for even allowing that crap to be released without a warning. The parody was funny as hell though.

  • In Scotland our laws are strict as shit you can't own a,

    Semiautomatic rifle.

    Handgun.

    automatic rifle.

You have to go through shit loads of paper work to get a shotgun.

Shit loads of paper work and a reason to own a bolt action rifle.

They are also thinking of banning automatic .22

  • In Pennsylvania I walk into a gun store, fill out a 1 page paper, get a background check, pay and leave with my gun. Total time 15 minutes.

  • @boochieboy814 Apparently, you live in that "other" US. The one where they actually respect the Constitution. I have a CHL, so I dont do background checks anymore.

  • @rb2112002 To some extent yes (as far as purchasing a gun). I open carry all the time as well, and the corrupt police force here like to try and hassle me sometimes....trying to do an unlawful "I.D. Check" or "I need to see your permit", until I refuse to provide either and school them on the laws and my rights as a gun owner. Luckily though, getting a gun isn't hard at all here....it's sad to see how hard they make it elsewhere, and it's complete b.s.

  • @boochieboy814 I dont know part of the state you live in, but if you were to open carry in Philadelphia, they would arrest you first, then maybe check to see if were legal. Western PA might be ok, but Philly is too close to the Peoples Democratic Republik of New Jerski. I think the anti-gun frenzy washed across the Delaware. Open carry is not allowed in Texas. It scares the sheep.

  • @rb2112002 Yeah, I live in Johnstown in the southwestern part of PA. The law around here is that if you have a handgun without a concealed carry permit, you can still carry it, but you HAVE to open carry. If you have a ccw permit (which I do) then it's your choice on how you want to carry...concealed or open. This is what I always explain to the cops when someone calls them because they simply saw a person with a gun and thought "oh no he has a gun, so he must be a terrorist"...lol.

  • @boochieboy814 I was watching a show, I think it was 60 minutes. A guy was open carrying a 1911, cocked and locked. This guy saw the hammer back and started whining that it wasn't safe. They asked if he was a gun owner, and he said no. They asked if he ever shot a gun, and he said no. He just thought that if the hammer was back, it was going to just "go off". The scary thing is, there are cops that don't know any better. Sheep should just lock themselves away. Its scary out here--lol

  • @boochieboy814 Thats cool that they give you the choice. For me, I would just carry concealed. I will never forget listening to these people in front of me at the grocery store talking about how dangerous it was with everyone carrying guns. It was only a matter of time before it turned into a war zone. Then she whined about the magical "high capacity" mags. What she didn't know was that I had my G26, and a G17 mag, and I was 3 feet behind her. I just smiled. If she only knew.

  • @rb2112002 I mostly carry concealed, but I'm like 120 pounds and if the circumstances (like 100 degree weather, or the fact that I want to carry a larger gun that day) keep me from being able to conceal, then I just open carry. If someone doesn't like it, tough shit for them, they better get used to it or stop living in the U.S. It's my right to do so, and I take my rights very seriously. They "shall not be infringed."

    CONTINUED

  • @rb2112002

Ahhh, the mystical "high capacity magazines" issue, lol. I carry a Taurus 92 in my vehicle with two 17 round mags and one 32 round mag. Anti-gun activists need to wake up and look at the world we live in. I'm sure if a person came into that store and tried to rob the place, or put a knife to her throat, she would be elated when someone carrying a gun saved her life with it. It's people that have no knowledge of firearms or "real life statistics" that are always crying about it.

  • @boochieboy814 I think people who dont believe in gun ownership should be marked somehow. maybe they should have a big bullseye tattooed on their foreheads. That way when I see them being victimized, i will know not to waste my time, and possibly get myself in legal trouble to defend them. Im not rambo, but I would get involved if I had the means to help an innocent victim. An anti-gun person though, are they really innocent, or part of the problem? Maybe they should get what they deserve?

  • @rb2112002 I respect a person's choice NOT to carry or own a gun, but they need to stop preaching their all knowing ways to those that DO choose to own and carry a firearm. Don't agree with guns? Want to criticize people that have guns? Fine. I hope they remember that when they become a victim in their own PERFECT WORLD. I think the world is full of mindless and OBLIVIOUS people with no grasp on reality.

  • @boochieboy814 I have a model 99. The same as the 92 with the adjustable rear sight. Mine has well over 10k rounds so far. I have taught at least five people (mostly ex girlfriends) to shoot with that gun. The only down side is the thickness of the grip. I guess if you want almost 20 rounds, you have to put them little bullets somewhere. My normal carry is either a Kel-Tec PF9, or the G26 in a shoulder holster. I did carry a PT-145, but it had reliability problems. Long story.

  • @rb2112002 Never had any problems with my 92 either....great gun in my opinion. The grip is a little thick like you said, but I have pretty long fingers anyways, so it feels fine to me. Had some Pachmayr wraparound grips on it, but they made it a little too thick even for me. I was thinking about a G19 but I have so many 9mm pistols already, so I'm looking into a G23 for everyday carry. Hopefully I'll pick one up soon...it will be my first GLOCK.

  • I love that I live in Reno/las Vegas where I can do this a lil bit easier

  • back than you can buy a gun by just giving your money to the cashier... no license, id check and background check... just money

  • that is fucking insane. u gotta jump thru 100 hoops just to buy a fucking gun. and guess what DC has some of the highest crime rates in AMERICA. Fucking Gun control DOES NOT WORK, the criminals get illegal guns in DC and the crime is thru the roof there. People arent gonna jump thru 100 hoops just to buy a stupid gun to defend themselfs. all you should need is a clean backround and a drivers license to buy a gun. This is bullshit

  • Geeze in Pennsylvania its a background check and no waiting period and you can buy as much as you want in one day. $27 for a 5 year CCW permit too!

  • Holy shit I just made this up when taking a piss!

''Guns are negative, but when used against a negative, they are positive."

    Thumbs up and pass on!

    -Daniel Miller

  • Glad you are doing this report, and actually going through the steps to see the red tape first hand. Great idea for a segment. I'd like to see this aired on national TV to show how hard it is for law abiding citizens to acquire a self defense weapon. You should follow this up with how easy it is to acquire a firearm unlawfully.

  • thats worst than canada

  • @blackquiver lol canada ftl

  • founding fathers rolling over in grave

  • i'd rather want to own a gun and never have to use it than to need a gun and not have one!

  • damn!! they are not making it easy..

  • @sailingmanuel thats why you live in VA not DC its a lot easier, all you need is two forms of ID and your set to go

  • @dewan05 I live in SC and only need to show my drivers lic.

  • Some states you must wait 5 days for a background check.Thats is bullshit where i live all you do is go get a pistol permit go to the gun store select the gun you want to buy they call and do a background check while your there it takes 5 min tops.

  • its called fax it there and back and they mail it to your FFL

  • No wonder only the criminals have the guns! This whole registration process is stupid! The laws should be made to allow citizens easy access to their rights, and not put such an undo burden on them! I believe that these registration laws do nothing more than to violate honest, law abiding citizens. 2nd Amendment doesnt say "you have this right if the govt says you do".

  • In Vermont, you don't need to do anything to own a gun, carry a concealed firearm, or just about anything else.

  • I should move too Texas just because at least there they have common sense Florida is ok you sign have a waiting period then you have your gun it works and I don't mind the wait but still I don't like how the Government limits my rights as a American just too make it alittle safer when really it's not if someone gets shot theres really nothing you could've done about it exacute the person or lock the person away forever and thats that.

  • I'd rather have a gun that no one knows about. That's truly being FREE!

  • it takes 1 hour to get a gun here in texas and i can get as many as i want plus high capacity magazines!

  • are you looking for a roommate ? :p

  • thats a lot of work 4 a gun...cant u just buy one on ebay?

  • Not eBay, but yes for other auction sites. They still have to be shipped to a FFL holder though.

  • Mark, what kind of man doesn't even WANT to have a gun?

I'll bet you're like the rest of the media and are a lying sack of shit who either already HAS a gun, or WILL get one even though you claimed you don't want one.
