  • -People get mislead by title-

  • ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤ I LOVE THIS SONG

    ❤ (but 0:40 is scary)

    ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

  • this song isnt from the scene where coraline is crying. this is the scene where she is going to bed, finds the mice, and discovers the other world for the first time. teh song where she is crying is called alone.

  • I hate when people pair Coraline and Wybie...they're kids and friends....I don't want to imagine them in bed together....it's disturbing. Just their friendship is pretty.

  • @ShenaniBanani I agree, rather not have the image ruin it for me. lol

  • When i was eight. After i see Coraline at 11:53pm i have this nightmare that the other mother trying to sew buttons in my eye then kill my parents ;( i have to save my parents and send them to home..to get in the small door then i was trapped at the other place then Wybie come to save me :D then when i wake up i say YAY IT WAS A DREAM!

  • la canzone è bellissima come me hahahaha!!!!!

  • sleepy kidding!!!!!!!!

  • this song makes me cry :(

  • but really it's gross if you wanna know more post on my profile for more

  • @allpeoplewhocommentedonthisvideoaboutwhatLoveTuesdaysWROTE he/she said that they were under the bed kissing and stuff. i got it pictured in my head because of him/her

  • I used to have bad dreams of my parents dieing; it was the most terrifying thing in the world to imagine.

Thats why you should be thankful to what you have and acknowledge others for those that don't have what you have. :) Happy Holidays! =^-^=

  • nice title for the song.

    i mean, seriously...

  • I'm makin a coraline musical

  • is that the part when the ghost children come? in her dream

  • Did you just call me smart? o___o

  • This is a cool song =] Love it!!!!

  • Coraline..

Hm. I like that name d:

  • @CarolineSkov Same here. My name is Caroline. I get called Coraline a lot. Always have. And now i dont mind it so much :)

  • I love that part where she follows the mice downstairs... and opens the door, and she sees a magical path taking her away to a magical world right in front of her ^^

  • they should have put it in the soundtrack the seeing the parents in the mirror and finding the mumandfather doll.

  • or its the part where she chases the mouse the first time and finds the other world

  • i think

  • this part is sad this is the part where she crys in bed

  • @chellafied its not that part its when she follows the mouse to the other world.

  • @chellafied the bed.

  • @chandlerschannel09 I don't know anymore :T

  • (Charlie is singing to Coraline and throwing slop on her plate)

Coraline: Why don't YOU ever cook, Mom? (folds arms)

Mel: Coraline, we've been through this before. Your dad cooks, I clean, and YOU stay out of the way... I swear, I'll go food shopping, as soon as we finish the catalouge. Now, try the chard, you need a vegetable.

Coraline: It looks more like SLIME to me...

Charlie: Well, it's slime or bedtime, fuzzpop. Now what's it gonna be?

Coraline: Think they're trying to poison me?...

  • (Coraline nods her doll's head and falls back into the bed. She picks up the picture of Crepes Almighty.)

Coraline: Don't forget about me, guys. Promise?

(Coraline gets comfortable and tucks herself in, then points her attention to her doll before falling asleep.)

    Coraline: Goodnight... little me.

  • @PurpleMysticDew it's not fuzzpop it's fusspot

  • so lonely when she's about to go to sleep... not knowing what's coming... So truly lonely and yet so hopeful...! silently going to sleep, silently waking up, chasing, chasing the mouse, and--- discovering the portal! What a great melody this is. Created with so much love.

  • oh my god it's just so so beautiful i just feel like oh my god i am just! :O

  • The sonq makes me happy i dont know why but i Love it <33

  • Stuffed Octopus Doll: Lemme' hug ya' face!

  • ROFLMAO, I love that guy XDXD

  • O_O Oh my god, it's so beautiful....

  • thhis music makes me feel calm

  • witch song was it wehre she ran in the apple tree garden, and around the world, away from the house and than back ...

    big sorry (bad english^^)

ehm ^^ ja welcher song ist das wo sie in den Apfelgarten flüchtet und dan mit dem Kater einmal um die welt läuft ^^

  • Your English is fine, just to tell you.

  • beautifully composed, takes a real genius to come up with something so complex, deep and complimentary to the film.

  • the movie and the music makes everything in the history of movies so much more different and wonderfull

  • I don't think I've heard about it. It looks kind of familiar though. Do you know of any other movies where this type of animation has been used?

  • oh lol

  • cried at this part its so sad:(

  • im giving my baby cats and this song is in my head im crying

  • This movie is incredible. Not just the animation, but the music just puts the movie on a whole new level. I'm so very impressed with this. It is beautiful in so many ways.

  • its not animation its stop motion

  • I love this song it makes me fall asleep

  • yea i play it every night before i go to bed,oh also Dreaming its my favourite of all of them!

  • I know how to play this on the piano and trumpet ^_^ Well, its basically Exploration/In The Bed/Installation and kinda The Party. :) They all have kinda that part in them, but i learned how to play it

  • can someone make and extended part of this the beggining, i like it

  • LOVE CORALINE!!! GREAT MOVIE!!!! GREAT MUSIC!!!! Listen to the song at the end credits, it's the BOMB!!! oooo relaxing flute...I play the flute!

  • do u kno how 2 play this song?? cuz u shud post it if u do... itd b cool

  • "Good night.....little me :)"

Even though the doll ended up being malevolent, that's still so cute to watch.

  • It's weird: in the theater that I was at, the part that got the most kids worried wasn't when the beldam comes after her in that big web. It was when she set up the pillows to look like her parents, then fell asleep crying.

Kids are smart; they know that losing your parents would be much more painful than having buttons sewn on your eyes.

  • I wish I was sitting in your theater. That sounds too sweet to miss. <:)

  • I don't think it's smartness, but innocence instead. Through the eyes of a child, it's much worse to lose their parents than having your eyes sewn, for parents play a huge part on a child's life... Or they simply aren't teached what's good or bad anymore, at least not at the rate of years ago. =( Not that losing parents isn't bad, but if someone doesn't teach a child that inflicting pain on others is bad, it'll never feel phased if it ever get into a fight, for example.

  • @sunsetofdoom Fantastic Comment :)

  • @sunsetofdoom It's a horror story explicitly for children. It's supposed to bring to light their real fears.

  • @sunsetofdoom omg you made me cry :)

  • @sunsetofdoom

Exactly... thats when i was the most worried.. it realy botherd me... but i still lov the movie...

Now i have a question.. if it bothers me so much... why do i love it so much?

  • @sunsetofdoom That part actually made me cry the first time I saw it

  • @sunsetofdoom it really would hurt more to not have your parents.....

id rather have them sewn in,then riped out..

it dosnt mean it wouldnt hurt though!

  • Even though Coraline really doesn´t need a sequel it would be kind of intresting I mean like what would the creators come up with?

The End (in my opinion) builds up for a sequel but I agree that the Coraline movie is fine as it is and I can´t wait until it gets released on DVD :)

  • True. There is no possible idea to make a sequel. I think the movie is as good as it is and doesn't need a sequel. Other Mother just die along with other world becouse there is nothing there left.

  • I LOVE the part at about 00:40 where the flute comes in. It is so relaxing. I MUST buy this one on iTunes. It could honostly go to sleep to this. No wonder its called "In the Bed" which is not anodd title at all, really. lol.

  • That sounds more like strings to me now that I listen closely...I cant tell. lol.

  • "Don't forget about me guys....okay?"

Kind of sad, watching Coraline looking at that picture of her old friends.

  • the only thing that gets me is the title O_o

  • Why is the title so weird to people? 0_o

It's not rocket science; it's the music that plays when she's in bed. Simple as that XD.

  • The title made me crack up, because I pictured Coraline and Wybie... oh, I'll shut up now. xD

  • LOL!!!!!!!

  • @LoveTuesdays lol geez

  • @LoveTuesdays XDDD wow

  • @LoveTuesdays OUR MINDS.

THEY'RE INFUSED WITH CREEPER THOUGHTS. D:

  • @Justalittledead oh god.

  • @LoveTuesdays LAWL!! niiiice

  • @LoveTuesdays Good, im not the only one! XD

  • Comment removed

  • @LoveTuesdays Good god, thanks for putting that picture in my head...O_o

  • @LoveTuesdays wow

  • @LoveTuesdays THANKS ALOT YOU GOT THE PICTURE IN MY HEAD xd NEGITIVE

  • @LoveTuesdays LOL same here.. XD

  • @LoveTuesdays twisted

  • this has an odd title

  • I think I like Exploration the most, with a few others, because the same tune appears in some other tracks.

  • i believe thats supposed to be coraline's theme.

  • the whole album is really, really good. just as good as the movie and the movie was amazing.

  • Where can i by the soundtrack!!?

  • amazon.

  • tnx :-3

  • Well that's ok then. Coraline is as good as it is.

  • I heard that they might do one.

  • No. Where? Gaiman, at least, stated that it would make absolutely no sense. Plus, this kind of rumors tend to appear every now and then.

  • yeah. i wouldnt get it. there is no second book so there shouldnt be a second movie.

  • what if they write a second book then? :)

  • then we'll have to see if it's good or not.

  • Or maybe they can, if they really put something very interesting, but I fear that that's the end of Coraline. Of course if they would be creating part 2 i hope they wouldn't throw out the cat :). Coraline took 2 years to create, so I have some doubts about sequel, but you never know what may happen XD

  • You must be kidding?

No offense, but they can't make a sequel,

unless N. Gaiman and H.Selick would make the Coraline or Wybie return there somehow or Beldam somehow get the key or find a way to get out. But that's sounds a bit riddiculous.

  • Or they make a prequel about Wybie's grandaunt and how she died, lol. But that might be a bit depressing XD

  • Yeah. The only thing I could think of for a sequel is if those pin hands of the witches magically stuck themselves back together, got the key and went back to the witch. But that's pretty much impossible anyway because you hear the witch say when Coraline escapes "noo!!! I'll die without you!!" So I think this movie and the book is perfectly fine as is.

  • this sounds a little like "alone" .

  • it is but with a change in instrument usage... this reoccuring melody is sort of like a theme for Coraline her self... 'Alone' shows her loneliness or sadness like the begining of this song and 'Exploration' is a little lighter and plucky to show her SLIGHT enthusiasm in getting to explore... really though I just love that consistant melody... pulls all the other songs together and it just sounds so nice :)

  • This music is so so pretty! I love all the music in this!!!!!!!

  • i THINK there's GONNA be A CORALINE2 beacuse in the end u could just feel IT xD

  • No, not really. All I saw was an ending.

With a cat showing off his magic powers.

  • xD!11!

  • i hope not, it was fine the way they finnished it. if they bring out a sequel it will be terrible, trust me as an animator i know when a good thing should stop!

  • I hope so, a sequel would be nice though it also could be a big risk. As long as Henry and Neil would be involved I wouldn't worry too much.

  • It would be interesting to see what would happen if someone else went through the door... or if Coraline had to go back there for some reason.

  • Or tell the history

    about the

    Wybie's

    Grandmother

    lol

  • the "other mother" would just eat them.. there's no big deal of it..! =P

  • In a word: "AMAZING!"

  • good film, i enjoyed it bt a little depressing for the younger generation me thinks..lol

  • This was the scene where she went to bed, and for the first time she sees one of the "Others". She goes to chase the mouse (button eyes) and is lead to the door to find the brick wall gone and leading to the Other World.

  • this made my day

  • i feel bad for coraline she is like me alone is my favorite song i cry and cry when i hear it it reminds me of me

  • in the beginning of this song .. it's like the middle of the other song "installation"

  • Poor, poor Coraline.

A little girl whom is feeling neglected and a bit lonely.

With no one to tuck her into bed. She's only 11 folks, she needs some real attention.

  • Parents really don't see they're mistakes until too late, but no parent is perfect. They do love her.

  • Oh, I understand that. I'm just focusing on the neglected part, but I do know that her parents love her.

  • In that department that happens to alot of kids. Unfortunately. So I think this film will contect to alot of children in that sense.

  • I agree, it will hopefully open parent's eyes to the fact that kids need and gripe for attention. Coraline offers so many insights, it's just such a great story accompanied with outstanding animation. Greatest film of 2009 for sure!

  • I'm sure it will!

I can't wait to watch it in 3D, it'll be out in my country on the 8th may. I'll be watching this with my brother and sister.

  • I loved this part when she falls backwards into her bed and tucks HERSELF in! That's so sad, not having her Mom or Dad tuck her in.

  • Actually, The sad part in this song is because Coraline was talking to the picture of her friends from Michigan "Don't forget about me" Then it gets to the part when she is chasing the mouse to the door.

  • Yea the Other Mother was a bitch for doing that to other Wybie :(.

  • wybies pinned smile is sooo scary!!

  • I had nightmares because of him!

  • It's creative, and anyone it TRAUMATIZED would prolly be better off not seeing the movie X3

  • I keep getting creepy flashbacks of Wybie's pinned smile....

    DX Poor Wybie. DX DX

When I saw that in the theater I LITERALLY WAILED.

  • My dad called me a retard for crying. orz

  • ugh i know!

  • Yeah that was creepy as hell!

  • This track and Exploration" makes me feel peacefully sad~

  • i love the book and the movie

  • I remember that part in the book!

  • Coraline's story:

THERE WAS A GIRL HER NAME WAS APPLE.SHE USED TO DANCE A LOT. SHE DANCED AND DANCED UNTIL HER FEET TURND INTO SOSSAJES THE END.

If you don't know what this is, you didn't read the book. X3

  • lol, I remember that part. Does that mean Coraline was older in the movie then the book? Or does it mean she has a hard time typing? Her story seems like something my five-year-old nephew would come up with. Cute, though.

  • That part always made me laugh so hard. I wish they had put that in the movie.

  • Yayy! I loved Coraline's story in the book! When I read it I kept wondering if, when Coraline was writing the story, the caps lock was stuck or something, because the whole thing was in capital letters with minimal punctuation and spelling errors. Makes you wonder how old she's supposed to be? I always though of her as being about 12 or so... But, then, thats how old I was when I first read the book, lol. 'SHE DANCED AND DANCED UNTIL HER FEET TURNED INTO SOSSAJES"

    What are sossages? Sausages?

  • lol i think shes eleven . . . but ya, that part was so cute! lol

  • lol I loved that part. XD

  • Yes. Yes they are.

  • Yea, very sad part in the movie.Very.

  • When was that? I'z forgotten.

  • Spoilers..>It was when she came home to find her parents missing. She got on her bed and made parents out of pillows. She crys alot.

  • Don't worry, i already saw the movie and read the book. ^_^ Yeah, that was sad. =*(

  • My papa was kidnapped 2 years ago. we found him but he was - you know! So, that part really touched me!

  • =( very sad.But how and why?its ok if its too hard to say.(or type)

  • Awesome!

  • Oh man, I remember this music piece in one of the saddest scenes in the film. Not saying what it is, but it almost made me cry. :,(

  • yep.:( i would cry but not in front of everyone.....)

  • Did you sniffle? I know I did.

  • Kinda, but I held on. You did?
