German tanks were technically better than Russian tanks - but they were overly complex and prone to breakdown. The T-34 didn't have these problems, was easier to manufacture and was the most successful design of the war.

Russia doesnt really need many aircraft carriers because its land area covers half of the planet from east to west- unless it wants to invade the USA or something but I doubt that. Russia will need some aircraft carriers around the polar region in the future and maybe around Alaska/ north pacific area.
What Russia really has to do is keep its nuclear arsenal modern and effective with a lot of megatons ready for delivery and maintain some control of space.
Howewer Russia want to build new 6-8 aircraft carriers (battle cruisers with plane carring ability). But it's still not real plans, maybe speculations.

Russia has 14 Delta and Akula-941 nuclear submarines, that are pretty much same way. If all of Russia's nuclear submarines were armed, they carry 2,120 nuclear warheads all together. Right now, they are armed about 1/3rd of that... maybe 600 or so ready to fire right now, but that is shearly because 100% readiness is uneeded.

No, it does not... nuclear SLBM's carry smaller warheads in MIRV form. One US OHIO class (they are not called "trident submarines") carries enough to do server damage to Russia, but not kill everyone. And besides, a single of our Pr.941 submarines carry enough nuclear warheads to literally wipe out 95% of the US east coast. So what is the purpose of your post exactly?

Also hard to believe that Russian is 8th. I did research on this topic a year ago and remember how the information was insufficient. Not really. Russian population in NY is 24% and it is fact (search and you will find it). The pop. of NY is 18,815,988. Rus. speaking = 18,815,988 * .24 = 4515837.12. (4.5 million, which makes sense). So, 18,815,988 / 4515837.12 = 4.16. Yes, I was wrong about every 6th person speaking Russian in NY. The real number is every 4th or 5th. The thing is that they all concentrated at specific parts of NY, this is why you don't meet them often.

Actually its the kind of impression that American historians are desperate to force into people's minds. But in reality, the Germans had succumbed to the Overwhelming Force of the Soviets. And they didnt need an atomic bomb to make Germany surrender unlike the cowardly Americans.

Unless you are talking about the European history in a different universe you are mistaken. The USA never used an atomic bomb on the Germans. The Manhattan project wasn't complete at that time. There were no nukes dropped during the invasion of Normandy.

All military historians credit the winter and supply distance in both wars. The Russian military couldn't defeat the EU. Russians are only good at doing parades.

and the second front in sicilia, which took them the ability to get into an offensive again.
it's not alone the red army, that defeated germany, it was the coalition of all nations worldwide and several incidents that cumulated in the final defeat - and for that i'm very thankful the allied forces and the russian red army.
Even as german, but that 'monster on the throne' had to be stopped. :)

LOL. you're the only one who's wishing it was like that. But the fact is that Germany is already defeated even before the dirty yanks could meddle in. America only started to open a new front when the Germans were badly beaten. Not to mention that the bulk of the German forces were concentrated in the east. Only the might of the Soviet forces could crush them. America, being so cowardly on the other hand needed to use nukes just to win a war.

Poor armed? Hell no! USSR had much better tanks(quality and quantity) in first years of war.

Everyone even you should agree that the German tanks were MUCH better than the Russian tanks. Problems with troop coordination, tactics and strategic command happen when your Russian leader kills off the most experienced of the officer corps. Duh!

German tanks were technically better than Russian tanks - but they were overly complex and prone to breakdown. The T-34 didn't have these problems, was easier to manufacture and was the most successful design of the war.

@Primorsky Russian army training was not comparable with german army from WW2... Only few russian weapons were really good, T-34 tank, Pphs was good, but the rest was outdated. Rest you said is right but USSR had not all those advantages compared to nazies, situation was worse...

Russia doesnt really need many aircraft carriers because its land area covers half of the planet from east to west- unless it wants to invade the USA or something but I doubt that. Russia will need some aircraft carriers around the polar region in the future and maybe around Alaska/ north pacific area.
What Russia really has to do is keep its nuclear arsenal modern and effective with a lot of megatons ready for delivery and maintain some control of space.
