First start with a deck - single or twin or four channel deck. Usaully they come with a software so you dont have to have the actual hardware record. They have self built in sound cards for your effects so no need for external sound card - However some decks also have additional inputs so you can have an external sound card like ableton. Sorato itch is the software to the controller ie deck. Once you are all set you are good to go -So Play - effect-samplers and scratch. yeh boy DJ Jerry go go go

Rev is one of the best skratch DJ's around. This isn't some amateur. His 1 click flares are faster than anyone but Qbert. Go watch some vids. A battle session and skratching are two different things. Have a listen to in 12's we trust. Shit came out in the 1990's and the cuts are still better than 99% of skratch DJ's today. Respect.

It takes a lot of time to get a good routine down, practice good scratching technique and figure out the science of how songs fade together, among other things. i love some revolution and i know we have to accept forms of technology but for some reason I cant get down with this movement. not to sound like the old dj i am, cause i have serato and i use dicers, but i dont know im not really diggin this set up. id much rather see revolution on just tables, i find it much more entertaining.
