  • thats fucking crazy.

  • dam.

  • 37 people use vinyl

  • @lordkufu original djs use vinyls this is only comercial for serato ! i dont say that serato is not good but vinyls are classic :D

  • @acikoo yea but if your going to get better sound out of Sorato than scratching vinyls to shit and having to buy new ones not to mention destroying needles i mean its just that much better for a scratch artist to use sorato.

  • I see KOTD

  • is that a mac i see boooooooooooo

  • Serato & Traktor next? :D

  • What is above the Rane mixer?

  • @Masondification It`s the Denon dn-HC1000s its a middi control for serato you can control loops and your cues.

  • if traktor got official Ableton integration that would be amazing. The sample decks in TP2 are good but the expandability is where the bridge wins.

  • cant beat traktor

  • DJ COLL ROCK DAS HAUS LOL

  • I am confused about the 37 people who hit "dislike"

  • awesome

  • Not many djs out there can cut the fader with both right and left handed. Good to know im not the only one out there that can cut with both hands.

  • @PhilipRaguso so what

  • that was fucking sickkk haha

  • i took my old dj hero turntables (two of them) rewired them put a new scratching table on them and now i play a dif. club every night..problem cheap entertainment?

  • 3 FUC**** word !

    TO FUC...*** GOOD !

  • I wish I was good enough to play in a snooker hall.

  • Jizz face at 0:35

  • I really wanna learn how to do this shit but I don't know where to start, I've fucked around on FL studio a bit made a couple songs that are alright. Help me please?

  • First start with a deck - single or twin or four channel deck. Usaully they come with a software so you dont have to have the actual hardware record. They have self built in sound cards for your effects so no need for external sound card - However some decks also have additional inputs so you can have an external sound card like ableton. Sorato itch is the software to the controller ie deck. Once you are all set you are good to go -So Play - effect-samplers and scratch. yeh boy DJ Jerry go go go

  • Rev is dope with records & with todays technology...Peep out The Classic Wake UP Show with Dj Revolution on YouTube..

  • the was sick :)

  • what's the beat?

    or the song?

    does anyone know haha!

  • @Denzatron the last song is dj revolution - rhytm controle

  • Can anyone tell me what equipment controller etc he's using, Thanks

  • @JolieSoze Rane Serato Scratch Live, Denon DN-HC1000S , Akai APC40, Technics 1210s

  • The Man, The Legend, DJ REVOLUTION!!

  • Alter !!! Völlig krass. Ob der das Studiert hat? Wirklich das Beste was ich gesehen hab bis jetzt. Und ich benutz Ableton seit Jahren.!!!!!Schön

  • also.. this is a demo of some software, not all of his abilities, and he still kills it..

  • Rev is one of the best skratch DJ's around. This isn't some amateur. His 1 click flares are faster than anyone but Qbert. Go watch some vids. A battle session and skratching are two different things. Have a listen to in 12's we trust. Shit came out in the 1990's and the cuts are still better than 99% of skratch DJ's today. Respect.

  • track name :?

  • He tried. Rev is just not in the same league as guys like Craze, Shiftee, and Rafik. Who all do demo's for Traktor

  • @glict shiftee? are u serious? rev is leagues above shifty all he does the is same og flare over and over.

  • @biglove599 Really? Is that why Shiftee is the only American to win both the Supremacy and world DMC championship? What does Rev do? Oh yea that same ol tired crab scratch and fast chirps. Not to mention he was the 2nd dj kicked of master of the mix. Damn lost to all those burnouts. Enter a real competition

  • Perfect

  • Great Stuff From A Presentation Standpoint

  • Dope!!! I Like That Big Pun Add Lib.

  • anyone know anything about midi mapping an Axiom 25 2nd gen to serato intsead of using turntables? with or without using a midi mapping software?

  • gating is so god dam fucking awesome

  • 2:07 forward ... RULZ the spectrum........

  • I think this dude moonlights at the National Security Agency (NSA) ... for sure ...

  • the man is to cocky

  • uhh.. cool for some studio remix type shit, but this aint nuthing but pushin buttons. I mean Omar Santana,Chep Nuez, and the Latin Rascals did this back in the mid 80's with Tape Deck edits! the tech is cool for your samples and beats, but all you newbies? learn how to mix and scratch first before you beg mommy to buy this for you for Xmas! alot of you are not really talented to begin with and think watchin Rev doin it will make you better??nahh too many phoney cyber mashup losers already!

  • What are the two boards? (the big one on the right & the one on top of the mixer)?

  • Comment removed

  • Somehow this video is misleading... did they just show playing clips then scratching on the fly with serato bridge?

  • What kind of laptop stand is that? I need one bad, I'm using a music stand right now and it gets in the way

  • i use ableton an serato also. this demonstrates the collaberation well

  • Wish I knew what cykikvisage said ;(

  • too much program used... old time dj' wher eare you

  • Hi every1. I like this video very much. I am also a DJ so if you want to support my new mix watch it and tell what you think... Thanx ! /watch?v=wSc62iGu4AA

  • EPIC!

  • this is amazing!

  • Damn that prolly took a lotta prep for a 3 minute song. props tho

  • And that's just a 3 minute song =D

  • wow

  • /watch?v=kcnXDLA-AmQ

  • wats the name of the launch pad thing hes got?

  • I would like to be King of The Bridge, but Serato/Ableton decided to delay The Bridge for Serato ITCH for 13 months and running...

  • Shortee and Faust are also up there. But this guy's pretty fucking good.

  • BIGTIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Badass

  • AMAZING!

  • like you nj20baller

  • Anyone who argues with technology will get left behind.... This shit is just the tip of the iceberg. any DJ on here who say this is whack prob aint shit anyway, post a response vid of your "raw" skills and we will be the judge....

  • Gayyyy!!! fuckin gay no style no nothin, oh my god, I can keep beat and scratch! no fucking melody! what's it worth! no song structure or anything, suck dick!

  • hey some one message me on this is he using apc40 with traktor and i havnt been using it this long wtf!!

  • hey i have one of those :)

  • That routine sounds so busy, intrincate and prepared... really fun to hear, but busy... I wonder how much the bridge can help you pull off BY IMPROVISING on a real life DJ set...

  • Talk about advertising...

  • this dj not all that

  • wow, that was weak in my eyes. but im sure that he can do alot better.

  • Being someone whose never been on the production end of music, this stuff is stupid. Techno/electronic has been my shit for 20 years and when you see stuff like this it really depreciates the music. Give me $10,000 worth of equipment and a bunch of synths. I can push buttons and turn effects knobs just as good as this guy with one day of practice. Guaranteed. I dare someone to point to one part of this video where this guy does something the average person couldn't do. AVERAGE person.. You can't

  • @cykikvisage I'm a DJ and I will admit that this isn't easy stuff to learn. It takes a lot of time to get a good routine down, practice good scratching technique and figure out the science of how songs fade together, among other things. Don't depreciate the artist man, we work hard and you have no idea what goes into to doing something like this. If you wanna hate go buy a set and show us you can do better. Until then keep you ignorance to yourself

  • @TheDJParadiso the algorithm is insane....though if you're all obsessed with club music then it would be nothing but noise to you....which is sad because you'd miss out on a truly talented dj, there's a lot to rhythm, and dj's never go out of their comfort zone! (besides breakbeat, and some drum & bass)

  • @TheDJParadiso I'm not a dj. My brother dj's and so does my buddy. I do know how things work just a bit and I'm a musical guy who's studied the masters from Kool Herc, Grand Master Flash, Africa Bambataa, Dj Red Alert, Marley Marl, Dj Premier, Pete Rock, etc... I know enough to know that this brother has serious skills and the technology is not a crutch here. He's just crazy with his craft, that's all.

  • @Jenntasnim That means I second your reply.

  • @TheDJParadiso fucking agreed man im not that goos yet but im getting the hang of things and its salot more difficult then people make it

  • @TheDJParadiso Exactly I completely agree

  • @cykikvisage ummm.....the whole video

  • @cykikvisage Simply don't understand y you'd think its so easy put out a vid of you doing scratches anywhere near the level he's scratching on den call that average

  • I didnt know jason statham DJed

  • You see the t-shirt that he is wearing. its a T-shirt from WESC. the fun thing here is that my dads best friend is the owner and founder of the company WESC. when they where kids they lived in sweden and skated all ady long. NOW YOU KNOW THAT

  • o SHIT!!!!!!!!

  • cool i guess for studio shit! even when you doin megamixes? but live? especially if you just pushin buttons like you really doin somethin?? naaah! pure records homie! i've seen cats doin that shit in battles now! it's all fake to me! usin a LAPTOP in a DJ BATTLE??? thats fradulent! wacker than using pre-fab battle records!

  • hahaha the walk away slowly routine...

  • My last name is Serrato lol

  • cool

  • I like how he's always at the front of the new stuff that comes out. Wonder what happened to him endorsing Torq though?...that's a loaded question hahaha

  • even though your ugly i sub

  • Yep, just keep on scratching them vinyls with your Vestax 05 and your cue stickers. The pioneers will keep progressing and raising the bar, while your still bitter about how you miss fingering an a-track player. Who needs to crab when this wall is full of em...

  • Dude walked away like he had just did something..ROFL. All one needs is a mixer and 2 wheels.

  • This was hot. Sexy hot.

  • somebody please clear this up for me.... scratch live, the Denon controller and the apc 40 all use USB but the macbook pro only has 2 usb??? how does this go down???

  • @GregoryGraveyard You can get adaptors much like an extension cable but for usb

  • @ShieldLiger13 are they not called USB Hubs?

  • @DaddyTheTechnition Sorry I don't know the name of every technical item known to man off the top of my head. I've seen them but never needed them so didn't look at what they were called.

  • @DaddyTheTechnition And furthermore, I just looked on your channel to see how much of a loser you are - and a loser you are - and saw on your most recent upload you admitted you don't even know how to connect an external mic, yet have the audacity to call me up on not using a technical term? You sir are a fucking idiot. Buy an usb audio interface with xlr and jack inputs such as the M-Audio Fast Track USB Input. Google it.

    You're welcome, jackass.

  • @ShieldLiger13 (1) Wow man thanks for your input. I ask a question N nerd man here puts up the shield n gets all defensive like I hate him or some shit. You miss high school don't yah buds? If you were to Read it proper then you will see that I was recording on my Mac Mic cuz I was doing a LIVE video. Now please do tell how the hell I'm gonna plug a mic into my Mac so when I'm doing a Live Video its sounds as it would when I plug it into my Ozone Or My M-Audio Fast Track n record a Track on my

I haven't taken the time to even see if I can use my Midi gear In I movie. Gives me something to try. I figured out a way just now that I may be able to do..thanks!! I guess Just because your a lil less intelligent N insecure then I am you feel the need to put me down N try N make me look stupid.

  • @ShieldLiger13 (3) Well sorry buds! Some one did you wrong somewhere some time in your life I guess, but It wasn't me man. Im still learning everyday something new about computers.. Wish I started learning along time ago.. I just started fucking with computers on a daily back in 07 N I have been the only one teaching me.. So um Thanks I guess!! HAha!! I guess I could get a USB HUB then maybe get a USB condenser Mic eh.. Just maybe.. HAhaahhaha!! You just bugging eh.. Feeling down?!!

  • sounds better with traktor :D

  • Sick as fook

  • i have to agree with pervious post im dj too but prefer just decks and a mixer nevermind all the other hoo haa its makein stuf way to easy no challenge involved imo

  • @dutch117 u dont know what you are talking about. this is the future, don't fight it. it's not going away....

  • this is was the coolest thing

  • i love some revolution and i know we have to accept forms of technology but for some reason I cant get down with this movement. not to sound like the old dj i am, cause i have serato and i use dicers, but i dont know im not really diggin this set up. id much rather see revolution on just tables, i find it much more entertaining.

    peace
