  • I am starting to believe that doctors out of america have more experience because of cheaper cost they get more patients and with more patients they have more experience.

  • LMAO..

CNN and all other news outlets call it the OBAMA bill

    xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox)

  • ummm umm ummm ... Obama said today, shut up and go away ... ummm umm ummm

  • democrats had a benign brain tumor. instead of surgery the idiots opted to use a gun to blow up their brains

  • "democrats had a benign brain tumor"

nonsense, the Democrat brain IS a tumor ...

  • Democrats are not going to get the touchdown but they settle for the field goal which is better than nothing...

If you kill the bill you only hurt yourself....

  • So people under 55 get fucked, again...and this is good?

    Medicare for all! FOR ALL!

  • gee, i only have to wait 10 yrs for healthcare relief

  • Why the hell wont they just use Reconciliation, and get a robust public option? The health care crisis is too important to allow Republicans to water reform down to the point of being meaningless.

  • Here is my statement. Who put the government in charge of spending my money. If i choose not to spend my money on others healthcare then why should i be forced to? Kinda sounds like the loosing of a "right" there doesnt it?

It destroys small businesses and kills free market. U have to remember that small businesses make up 70% of american jobs. It forces small businesses to give their employees healthcare or they must fire some employees to still make profit.

  • Well, it certainly hasn't destroyed small businesses in Canada, so... fail?

Also 70% sounds pulled out of your ass.

  • Huh? Canada? I thought we were talking about america. Unlike Canada we are 14.2 trillion in debt. Also yes 70 percent of jobs here in america are small businesses.

U can ask anyone on that. It could be higher then that now considering big businesses had a big loose of jobs in this recession we are in. Did u find something offensive that i said? I don't remember adding Canada to any of my comments. What works for u guys doesn't mean it will work for us.

We are very different in many ways..

  • Full blown socialism? You have absolutely no political perspective do you? America is already way to the right of the political spectrum compared to the rest of the developed world. Most developed nations have single payer systems which function an orders of magnitude better than the US system. A public option is hardly socialism. Globally, many conservatives would consider a mere public option too far to the right. You're dizzy-eyed with the extremism that has seized the American right.

  • why does people think that socialism is dictatorial lol..dont thumb this jimmy down because EVERYONE should start to catch up on their reading

  • You said liberals when you should have said Democrats. Big difference.

  • Cool.... 20 more years and I might get health coverage.

  • yes high five

  • At the end of the day the sick and poor people get the fuzzy end of the lolipop.

  • Exactly, cgordon.

  • It's been a while since TYT uploaded such a good video.

    Excellent analysis, 5 stars.

  • If individual freedom and rights are number one, then everyone else (including the community and society) is number two. You can never have universal care at a bearable cost if capitalist principles (profit) continue to rule.

  • A compromise, a real compromise, needs to be struck between the 'camps' you just mentioned.

  • Otherwise... Well... They always say ignorance is bliss. Sorry how lengthly that got. I just can't stand the thought of letting these criminals get away with everything that they have. Its just not right.

  • There will be looting, mass anarchy. People will die. A lot of people will die. The government and media will cease to be. People will organize into armed factions. And the world as we know it, will end. At least, that is a simplified version of what I think may happen. People need to open their eyes, see the truth, and make a stand for what is right. People need to oppose this corruption and destroy these superpower corporations that are sucking out the blood of this country. (continued)

  • And do you know what that means? Do you know what may happenMass murder. Mayhem. War on the streets. No police officers to stop it, since they are among the ranks of the poor that need to pay for their familys to eat. (continued)

  • As a rule, the powers that be know better than to lose control of the police and the armed forces.

If you have the time, read 'Ten Days That Shook the World' by American journalist John Reed, about the Bolshevik revolution. The military and esp. the police sided against the revolutionaries.

  • Remember what happened after Columbine? There were mass shootings in dozens of schools by kids in similar positions. When this man loses it and kills someone, people are going to sympathize. People are going to emulate this ballsy man. This isn't a few hundred socially awkward high schoolers that get picked on, these are millions of frustrated americans who are done, finished with this mandate of corruption that has been ruling their lives. (continued)

  • All I'm seeing on this page is bitching... Bitching and moaning and complaining. People understand whats happening, and yet... Nobody is doing a damn thing. When a country reaches this point, a point where our gov't is corrupt and people are weighed on a scale against money, then there is need for change. I don't mean elections. Eventually somebody who loses his house, his job, and his family is going to lose it. He's going to put a bullet in a politicians head. (continued)

  • jimmy don't cry

  • gsdbvsdgvsd

  • your a smart man cgordon6969

  • For clarity: Earlier in the thread someone said that healthcare wasn't provide for in the constitution, I countered that neither were the hydroelectric dams or interstate highways, yet we still enjoy thier benefits. I wasn't speaking in context of the modern stimulus money, I was referring to Roosevelt and the great depression...

  • I was referring to the Great Depression: Hoover Dam and Grand Coulee Dam...

  • President Obama wants to lower the costs of your health care but raise the costs of your energy...verrrry interesting.

  • No Public Option? Fucking facepalm, what was the point of this?

  • I am a hard working American. Making barely just under 20,000 a year. I have never been in jail, have even done volunteer work for the homeless, and have never asked the government for a helping hand. Having said that, how, god forbid, I have an accident, and am required to be in debt for X amount of years because i cant afford my health care right then and there on the spot, am i meant to survive without even more of a struggle then I have now?

  • Well said, and there are many people out there just like you who go into medical bankruptcy. It is very sad. And you even left out the possibility of having childen who rely on you. Jimmymac thinks that the people who need health care are bums who chose to live that way. What a lie. It's working class people just like you who are an accident away from total ruin.

  • don't even try to speak for me greenfool; U have no idea what i've been through. U can be damned sure i worked my ass off to get out of the gutter U and most everyone following the TYT network seem to idolize. don't jeapordize the country for a few mill people lacking health ins. like most bums, most people choose to stay in the circumstances they've become accustomed; it takes more than a Obama handout to rise above those circumstances. Y am i wasting time on people like you?? Worthless POS

  • I'm a POS because I care about people? You have no idea what I'VE been through. I own a roofing company and employ 8hard working men. I take a big hit in the wallet every month so my guys and thier families can have health insurance. I could be a greedy bastard and tell them they're on thier own and pocket the 3 grand or so I pay to help with insurance, but I realize that healthy, happy people work hard and are loyal. Luckily in the state I'm from we have health co-ops.

  • That's great, you pay a portion of your employees health benefits. I'm guessing you don't make over 250k/yr therefore will not be subject to the OTax of 5.4%. Since I have 45 employees and make well over 250K I will be subjected to this tax. Due to my wealth gained over the last two decades I have considerable assets on which I pay my FAIR share of taxes. Charitable giving ranges between 5-10% of my income. If my taxes go up something else must give; charitable giving, employee? CHOICE

  • If you make "well over" 250k a year and have "considerable assets", and 45 employees, chances are you have a tax accountant who has found many ways for you to avoid paying a lot of taxes. Who are you trying to kid? I'm also guessing you have health care and your employees do not...

  • some of use worked two jobs to get through tight times; just a thought brother

  • Telling people to find a second job in the middle of a depression is like Marie Antoinette telling the people to eat cake when they're starving for bread.

    Get your neck ready.

  • Just finding a decent job is hard enough.. But a second job?

  • I am an American!, but I live in the U.K, and i have witnessed their " health care". and out of personal experience I can tell you, for that alone, I am persuaded to stay here. I was in the emergency room not to long ago, and felt like i was robbing them. Why? because i got treated at a human being, got treated and went on my may without paying a dime.... and a dime is worth damn near 5 pence to them.! I was embarrassed to leave with a simple "thank you" ... when that alone was not needed!

  • Any advice for Americans wishing to flee to Britain as refugees of Corporatilism?

  • needparalegal, you are a certifiable freak. you have nothing to add to a legit conversation so please refrain from commenting...

  • You are such a moron, who do you think the bailout went to, or the military spending? How many welfare moms does it take to equal a Goldman Sachs executive in government spending?

  • EXACTLY! I totally agree. These 1%ers separate us by bring up these ridiculous arguments and we argue within instead of seeing the real issues.

It's the welfare moms or illegal aliens! That's the problem. Keep believing that bullshit like they want you to.

  • Hmm...the situation seems to be too uncertain for me to have an opinion here.

  • Where does it say in the constiution that we are entitled to health care? Anyone?

  • By that logic, where does it say in the contitution that we are entitled to highways or hydroelectric dams? This isn't 1787 anymore. Times change. Our citizens our dying because they can not afford health care. Forget the legal obligation, don't we have a moral obligation?

  • Not all people who don't have health care are bums. When you lose your job and you or a family member need something and can't afford it and someone else helps you out, remember the words you just typed.

  • @greenthumbguy1 someone else will help me out but I can assure you they won't be forced into the act by our gov't. Ever hear of a church?

  • Why should someone else have to help you out?

What kind of a bum relies on a church or other people to bail him out when he can't pay for his insurance? Use some of that good ol' bootstrapping I keep hearing about but never seeing.

  • How many churches are going to give you $35,000 for the surgery you minght need someday?

  • They might if you sell them your soul and that of your children. The reason churches want to keep Government out of caring for people is so they can use misery to convert more minions/thralls to further their power.

  • it is your problem we're all in the same boat together.

  • not so, if it was my problem it would be fixed. liberal politics will be the doom of our republic

  • we aren't entitled to roads and hydroelectric dams.

  • I know that, I never said we are. Yet, we all benefit from them.

  • The federal government doesn't entitle you to roads, bridges, and dams; your state government has control over those commodities. However, in this case if the public option was passed the Federal government would entitle health care to us. There is a distinct difference between state and federal programs. You appear to have the two mixed up.

  • No I don't have them mixed up. I was responding to Jimmymac who said we are entitled to those things. I don't need a lecture, I know the function of state and federal governments.

  • My apologies sir. I did read his comments and he does seem like a complete and total tool.

  • I might be a tool but i'm sharper than most!

  • I never said we were entitled to thise things; I said if we have a moral obligation to provide healthcare to all then we might as well take over the world and make life better for mankind. Ironic isn't it?

  • Sorry, I misread your comments. It looks like we are certainly moving to exert our influence and nation build around the world. whether it be in Iraq, Afghanistan, or Pakistan; possibly Iran next.

  • The hydroelectric dams were built by the federal government with stimulus money...

  • The stimulus funded the states to help create jobs not to build the dams themselves. Ordinarily, the states do not receive federal funding to build roads and whatnot. That's why the stimulus was such a big deal.

  • So I guess the Federal Highway Administration and all the Interstates are somehow controlled by the states?

I guess the whole scandal about all the Federal money that was being spent on the "Bridge to Nowwhere" in Alaska was actually state money? States petition the federal government for money all the time, about 3% of the federal budget goes to transportation infrastructure.

  • Yes but those types of administrations do assist states. Thank you for correcting me but what I meant was they normally the federally govt does not donate billions of dollars to states to create many projects. However, 7% of our state taxes go to transportation. This stimulus did all of that and thats what I meant that wasnt normal

  • Article I, Section 8, Clause 1:

'The Congress shall have power to lay and collect taxes, duties, imposts and excises, to pay the debts and provide for the common defense and GENERAL WELFARE of the United States.'

I hope I answered your question.

  • Very funny. Let me be more specific; look up the definition of WELFARE then try to make the case that somehow Healthcare falls under the Fed Gov't responsibilities... If the Feds ever gain control over healthcare then in essence the Feds control your LIFE. No more twinkies for you Mister.

  • They don't care who is in control as long as they get somthing out of it.

  • It's not funny, it's the US Constitution. And this is Merriam-Webster:

    wel·fare

Etymology: Middle English, from the phrase wel faren to fare well

1 : the state of doing well especially in respect to good fortune, happiness, well-being, or prosperity

2 a : aid in the form of money or necessities for those in need; b : an agency or program through which such aid is distributed.

I'm sorry to pop your bubble, chump, but tax-funded welfare programs are indeed constitutional.

  • exactly, welfare refers to aiding those in need. welfare is a temporary fix and not meant as a permanent solution. healthcare needs a perm fix w/o that costs less, reduces corruption and does not require a tax hike. eliminating state borders and allowing consumers to shop across state lines would be a good start.

  • i will not pay for mandatory health care next thing he is going to do is take our guns well buddy i have to give you the bullets first i miss the good old america

  • If they keep mandatory insurance for those without it,and force those 48M people who can't afford it to join private health care,Obama will be a 1 term president.

  • Yeah MANDATORY insurance{ what a insult} that most likely will not have "low cost's". Oh and these supposed "low cost" from private insurance companies are going to insure the unemployed and homeless? We have high unemployment and people loosing homes, and they want to make health insurance mandatory, otherwise get penalized? "mandatory" oh yeah that's real "free" choice isn't it? It's a fxxxin joke.

  • Here Here WolfArden!!

  • How the fuck am I supposed to reach the age of 55? I going to be dead before that for sure being uninsured.

  • Americans {including commentators} need to stop rationalizing and sugar coating the shit that is happening in this country. These politicians aren't helping Americans, they are allowing people to sink due to greed syndrome. If the Democrats want to keep their seats, they better get some fire up under their ass; start listening what the majority of Americans want. Do we want to be proud to be an American? face it , over the last 9 years there hasn't been a whole hell of allot to be proud about.

  • HERE HERE!!!

  • put the bong away and you'll actually live to see a social security check

  • no can do jim...

    no can do.

seriously, the public option is the only way to go. or medicare with an all age buy in.

  • For fuck sake, Why do we have to make it so difficult and confusing, our health care is the pits due to private insurance companies. All this flip flop shit is nauseating. We need universal health care period. Majority of Americans WANT public option. What about people who do work but can't afford a dime to buy health insurance? And how does medicare help the people under 55? Do people have to now MOVE out of the country to get health insurance? Nothing more than blowing smoke up our ass again

  • Btw, watched the Ed show, he talked to a woman who hasn't been to the doctor in 12 years, because she couldn't afford it. What kind of country are we when we have to set up "free clinics" for people to get medical attention for God sakes? These politicians are so fxxxin removed from the REAL people ,the REAL financial burdens that every day Americans are struggling. With unemployment being so high, yet in the same breath give us a bullshit that private insurance will keep "costs" down? Eh sick

  • i randomly picked your comment to read and I ended up with a laugh. thx! the only comment worth a damn was having people MO VE out of the country so they can get health insurance. Best solution i've heard so far... Brilliant

  • @

Jimmymac916 ,I wasn't serious about moving out of the country. lol. However we know other nations have universal health care; that was my point. Of course that isn't the solution. But what is at this stage? The frigen politicians won't listen to the American people. Plus I was disgusted, was in the heat of the moment thing, lol.

  • I totally agree with everything you said, our democratic congressmen failed us.

  • Yesterday, as soon as i'd heard that the public option was out, I wondered how pissed Cenk was going to be. I'm surprised, not to mention disappointed, that he seemed fine declaring the public option dead. I want to know what Dennis Kucinich thinks of this.

  • What does Alan Grayson have to say about this??

  • Grayson is gutsy and smart but he's also a party man so he'll roll with it.

  • fucken shit! these motherfuckers are caga palos (ppl who take a shit on everything). why do these conservatives still always win???

  • After all of that we stil can't get good pu8blic option huh i hope those guys getting money from the insurance company loose it all see how it feels to pay their bills then.

  • okay... so i say... Fuck the Public Option... Single Payer .... goes great on poster Boards and T-shirts... why should i place a price on my health for there profit... i opted out of my Jobs Health Care... i figure the money is better spent on me then in the pockets of Money Mongers... the money i save doing so if i so happen to get sick enough to not be helped then it just goes to my Family...

  • single payer FTW in every country in the world.

  • New plan is total weak sauce

  • The new plan sucks... It sounds like a sell out to me... Why can't they put in a public op... An what about new laws that have to do with pre existing conditions... I sware this county is run by big bizz... It's BS if you ask me...

  • With out some big competition insurance companies can do what ever they want that hurts the people why doesn't ANYONE understand that, I don't blame Obama I blame the voters on both sides who only see how their votes help them gain money

  • Wow, how much more self interest can there be in one issue?

  • Be careful what you which, the was a genius move. Elbow form the Sky.

The Republican forgot that early the first plan was Medicate for all. And was so out of the question than no one dare propose it. Then the Republican spent 4 month demonizing the public option.

Now Harry Reid come with the move of medicate start at 55, and leave the Conservative now the Republican cannot come back to re-demonize Medicare after the say it is the Plan they want.

  • lmao want all day, you wanna say "something is better then nothing" because youve been beaten into submission like most of us and are so used to getting fucked your happy for crumbs and have forgotten the meal of universal healthcare caring for its citizens is one of the governments only jobs and they fail wonderfully

this is the best the democrats can do ?! this is the best obama can do?!

  • lol anthony weiner

  • These fools on the left give away their souls more and more until they're actually happy with this shit deal.

Dems and Repubs talk and talk and talk, but the whole time people still die cuz they dont have coverage.

Cenk, nice one spotting that something's not quite right.

  • WOW. people act like they can run away from diying. We all die someday. I think the left is scared off diying.

  • OF course we all die, but it's bullshit when someone dies when they could have easily been saved.

  • Whats the chances of saving someone with cancer aid and diseases. It makes u wonder why insurance companies drop people. There are a high risk to waist money. U would wast 100,000 just to see if someone "could live another day". There loosing to much money and thats why the drop them. IM sorry but people cannot easily be saved nor are doctors god!!!!!1

  • I think Dick Cheney was afraid of dying when he dodged the Vietnam draft four times.

  • Whats that have to do with healthcare u moron. Everyone is afraid of dying. But we all will someday!!!!

  • damn I think someone needs a hug. Cheer up man.

  • Hmm....I thought for some reason the health care reform was to lower costs. How on earth are costs going to lower if there is no government competition with the public option? Expanding medicare for those 55 and older, great, but not really fixing the inflation problem.

My question is, are they still going to require everyone by 2015 to have insurance or else be fined even though there is no public option?

  • Why should people be forced into healthcare who have lived right and are healthy and have other interest with there money.

  • most healthy people who are living right have health insurance

  • SO what does that tell u!!!! The onces who dont arnt living responsably and feel the need to have otheres to take care of them.. Thats sad!!!! and your talking about 30 billion.... America is goin down the drain with people who cant even try to live right!!!!

  • there's a big gap of logic when you say "The onces who dont arnt living responsably" it might be the case that under current circumstances they are not able to obtain health insurance.just because they want a public option doesn't mean they need others to take care of them! they're taking care of themselves by paying national insurance

  • WE are talking about the people who are still not going to be able to pay for this either. yes it is gonna be pretty much free. Even free for the illegals. Ive already found a bad loophole in it!!!!!

  • NI is not deducted uniformly...people who cant afford to pay much will pay less than they actually use were as rich people will pay a lot more than they actually should. so it will be affordable to anyone with a 2 bit job

  • Watch it now! some people might find the insulting. LMAO

  • Because if a truck runs over their ass and they end up in a wheel chair having to take medicines up the ass, then they could feel sorry for not having bought cheap healthcare. A low probability but high threat, is good, plus if everyone chips in, then it is even cheaper for all. So yeah, call it living even more responsibly if you want, I call it total peace of mind. It lets me spend on whatever I want REGARDLESS of what unforeseen things happen to me.

  • People getting run over makes problably a percent of all the people in wheelchair.

So your past is pretty lame. We actaully have a great healthcare if there were not so many happy sueing americans in this country or loopholes. which there is alot. And yes this actaully does give free care!!!! So when u say chip in. NOt everyone is gonna chip in. thats a bad loophole to start something.

  • from the evidence you've presented I'd suggest that insurance companies have been quietly making promises, in order to get a "compromise" that is exclusively in their favour. with no public option, anyone uner 55 who is unable to get healthcare will be no better off!

  • Anyone else think Obama is a pretty weak man? We're far from the convincing speeches during the campaign..

  • Thats nonsense and you kow it. There is more than one way to skin a cat. You need to ask yourself, do you want more afforable health care availible to more people, choices, competition, no more pre-existing conditions, no more caps on life time care, or do you want a Public Option? The Public Option is one way to skin a cat, only one way.

  • Good luck getting re-elected, Democrats. Extremely disappointed.

  • never mind a health care bill, when we can pass a WEALTH CARE bill... which is exactly what this has boiled down to.

  • what do u mean wealth care bill. IM sorry i dont fully understand... No im not insulting u either....

  • Now, not only do we not have a public option, but all Americans are required to buy health insurance and only from private companies- making the wealthy, wealthier. and everyone else poorer. It's not about welfare- it's about affordable health care. I'm not on welfare- I work 2 jobs, pay my taxes and cannot afford health care. Now I'm screwed because I HAVE to buy it but have no way to pay so I have no idea what I"m going to do now thanks to this piece of shit.

  • Man that sucks, I live in europe and we also have private insurance companies but they are beaten down by the strict government to not make the costs rise to much or raise profits to large. So I pay...$90 a month for full health insurance. Yes full, everything you can imagine.

  • wow. 1 doctor visit costs me $140.00 and that does not include any tests, medications, or treatment. $90 a month to cover everything?! that i could do! where in europe do you live? i may have to move there.

  • Well its mostly because I'm a student and therefore get a special premium deal. If your an employee this is usualy part of your regular pay and gets deducted as well. A full employee insurance is around $100 to $250 depending on wether you want minimal or full. Full means you get dental, psychology, whatever completely compensated. Minimal means you also get that but you have to meet all the healthcare requirements to get it for free. Minimal is all you need, but full is for oversafe people.

  • And small bussinesses loose 5 percent to this healthcare too. Like it isnt already tough enough for small bussinesses.

  • what does small business have to do with healthcare? We have plenty of small business in europe. Almost all doctors and pharmacies are small business. Only hospitals are big business here but that's semi-government and not profit orientated.

  • They loose 5 percent to go to there imployees. If your not in america then u only speak for yourself and your country. Hince u know nothing about us. America sue's happy. They get addicted to drugs easly. WE pass out condom as our hope for decreasing unwanted pregnancies. Please stop!!!!! talking politics isnt what america needs. But let me remind u that we are america not europe. Seems u wants us to have this because it is a failur in the making... Piss off..

  • I was speaking for only myself and my own country u dipshit. I never said you guys should follow the same system. Heck our system can only be so cheap because you americans pay too much for your healthcare in america. Thanks to that we can buy cheap. That is a fact so I'm thankfull for all you americans that pay too much :-)

and oh boy where you full of shit right there.

  • Its just too bad that we have the best care there is too. Ofcourse your gonna pay more for better care. The problem why it cost so much is becuase we sue happily, A lot of society is risky with there bad habbits and choices. U can have your cheapo waist....

  • France has the best heathcare. Not my opinion btw, its fact.

  • For a small population and a different culture. yes they does. But i live in america, where do u live? .

  • it's shit. we get coerced into buying unaffordable insurance.

  • Actually we can afford it. Its just that america cant afford it. 12 Trillion in debt and half the people here dont know that. They say it is a scare tactet. Jezzzzz

  • I love bending over so the government and corporations can rape me.

  • I just want to be able to go to the doc when I need to and not worry that if I get into a bad accident that I'll go bankrupt from medical expenses because my insurance does not cover it.

  • Then what do we do. I dont want to rely on someone elses money!!!!!!

  • @wvbkball how exactly do I do that?

  • A no public option isn't worth two squirts of piss. In fact anything other than public option involvement is nothing more than an unfunded mandate on the general public...the voters...the 70 plus percent that want a public option...besides, medicare has a 5 year shelf life. We need to replace it now.

  • Public option is more like another welfare care!!!!!! Now that isnt worth two squirts of piss u loonytune u!!!!!1

  • If we don't pass this with a single-payer public option, more people will be without health care.

  • You mean Public Option, single payer is a different system. And not you are wrong MORE people will be covered when this passes.

  • If it's not single-payer, there will be an increase in taxes.

  • The Public Option was no different than Kiaser really it's just another health care provider; paid for with premiums.Single payer is what they have in the UK, Canada and Taiwan. The Public Option and single payer are two different things....You infact pay for the Public Option just like any other health care. There really is not much difference between what they are proposing and the PO infact this new idea is evan more progressive with the expanion of Meidcare.

  • How is it welfare when you pay for it yourself. This isn't the state paying for your healthcare.

  • The state doenst pay for welfare u moron. We are taxed to pay for it just like it would be for this healthcare reform. U are more stupid then i thought now that i think about it. The state pays for NOTHING!!!!! Most of everything gets paid for through our taxes...

  • @wvbkball Actually the state pays for it through taxes. That's where they get their money. You're paying the state...they pay the welfare. That's like saying that you pay the salaries of teachers. You don't. Your taxes go to the collective and the collective pays it.

  • You just said what i just said. jezzz.!!!!!!

  • Yup, we pay for your wars, your bailouts, even the bribes to your Senators and Congressman. It comes primarily from middle class taxes.

  • yep i couldnt agree more. But im satisfide chiping in for our country but not for individuals!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Don't call me a moron when you can't grasp that taxes go to the state, and the state in turn uses that money to fund things - that is the state paying for things! Using tax payers money, of course, but they're in charge of putting the money into things.

  • Its more like "free money". Please dont act like we pay taxes from the good of our hearts. WE pay taxes because we are forced to!!!!!!

Just like this healthcare we are forced to have it. It is mandatory! Now thats bullshit for the people who live right and are healthy enough. Some of us save money money for emergencies.

This would add a whole new tax programe that isn't needed.

  • Since when were we discussing whether or not people pay taxes because they want to?

You claimed that the public option for health insurance would be welfare. I asked how it's welfare if it's paid for by the *individuals* and not the state. You then got this idea that "paid for by the state" meant something other than "paid for by the state using taxpayer's money (the state's funding pool). I then clarified that the two are the same.

So how is the PO welfare when its not state paid?

  • I said yea that they both are the same. WE pay taxes that go to unweathly bums who do nothing. The healthcare would be the same. We pay taxes for it that would insure that same people with "welfare". Its not all payed for from "individauls". There is a loophole where it is available free for the "elligals". And dont try saying it isn't I would be happy to prove it to u.

  • Most of the people who need universal health care are people who have good jobs, own houses and cars and have families. I have all of these things, but I have type 1 diabetes. When my kidneys failed and I needed dialysis or a kidney transplant my insurance dropped me faster than you can say universal healthcare even though I payed $500 a month for just my insurance.

  • Please dont tell me u have excuses to try and cover up u are actually speaking for yourself Here. I think what we have now can work well if there wasnt so many loophole. Yes i think they shouldnt drop u. I just dont want healthcare were people break the law and are handed free care. And others who know the can twirl around the system and pay nothing. I just dont want people paying nothing for somthing... Im using my opinion now go cut your wrist so your blood pressur can lower....

  • I'm not covering anything up. The majority of people who are forced to file for bankrupsy are people who have jobs, houses, cars, and family - but got into money troubles because their beloved health insurance dropped them when they got sick. Most of the people who would utilize this universal healthcare would be tax payers. It's not that hard to understand.

FFS CRIMINALS in jail get free healthcare, why shouldn't tax paying citizens?

  • Then please go kill someone then u will be taken care off! end of story!!!!

  • Now I know for a fact that your reasoning skills aren't high enough to form an appropriate will informed opinion. I just hope that you are in fact too stupid to figure out how to pull the voting leaver when the time comes.

  • I perfere not to vote. U had two idiots who were running. Why make myself look like a fool??? Now dont let your brain ge to your head to much.

  • I had two idiots? You don't understand how a democracy works.

  • Yes, two idiots were running for president last year! I would of voted for ass then of voted for them. O i do know how the sneaky slize balls work!!!

  • "MY ASS"

  • I'm bored talking to you. Have a nice day.

  • You too! :))
