Actually not too many auto jumps with that velocity and angle ever land with the rubber down, the announcer isn't too concerned as it didn't go to pieces or burst into flames.

See "Ken Block jumps 171 ft" for the all fours thingy.

No. They put them at the other end in case he goes off course. Wouldn't want him crashing into the vehicles that are supposed to save him!

The race announcer yesterday was talking about this at saratoga and he said that he was a bit injured but he is doing this again this year

yeah, he lost consciousness last year for 5 mins, so much speed. It's a bad thing when you clear the crash cars (or almost do). He'll be back at Saratoga in August.

plus the nose dove like crazy, might have let off too early in the ramp causing him to decelerate and weight shifted to the front of the car

No. Crashing into the cars is supposed to happen. It's called a dive bomb. No one jumps cars ramp to ramp anymore ... all of the stunts are to crash into other vehicles. It's actually safer.
