I can relate to this guy. I graduated with a 4.0 gpa in high school, achieved very high SAT scores and attended one of the top colleges in the country, but then failed out from not attending classes after only two quarters. It's really a travesty and lately I've been regretting it terribly. I'm enrolling at a community college in January and then starting nursing school next fall.
He was dumb. Bartenders make great money if they're good at "managing" their customers, plus, at many places, you can still steal from the till. He should have worked like a madman for five years, then started his own business, gone into real estate, etc. The world is FULL of unemployable, yet bright and hard-working, college grads.
dude im not trying to be funny, but are you writing a book? i would buy it.i dropped out at age 15,went back two years later and earned a ged.now at age 34 i am goingto juinor college to become a nurse.thanx for the words.
